Miracle At Sea: Family Rescued After 12 Hours Treading Water

citynews.ca — A Florida man and his 12-year-old autistic son ran into trouble in the water around 7:30pm. A tide suddenly swept him out to sea and he was unable to get back. The father chased after his son and they were forced to spend the entire night treading water before being located and rescued in the Coast guard in the morning.. over 12 hours later!

  • BrettFromTibet, on 09/08/2008, -1/+1they were swept from the beach to over 8 miles out to sea.. in the worst shark waters in Florida... and the spend the entire night doggy paddling around until the Coast Guard spotted them.... A pretty incredible survival story!
