Military explains nuclear weapon mistake
news.yahoo.com — In its first explicit confirmation that six nuclear-armed missiles were erroneously flown from an air base in North Dakota to a base in Louisiana in late August, the Air Force on Friday called the episode an "unacceptable mistake" — of a sort that had never happened before.

- SheilaNoya, on 10/20/2007, -2/+11OOPS! We "accidentally" bypassed 57 different security checks, violated all of our own security clearance rules, then managed to load deadly nuclear weapons on an aircraft, without anyone pointing out there might be a problem. Yeah, right.
- amsterdamordeth, on 10/20/2007, -2/+1As much as I would love to know why. We will never probably know the truth behind it, I am personally just glad the airplane didn't drop the nukes on us.
- IrishJoe, on 10/20/2007, -3/+2It's never happened before because we've never had a president and vice president bent on dropping nukes on a country in the Middle East before.
- neuralzen, on 10/20/2007, -1/+2Anyone notice the last paragraph in the article?
"The weapon involved was the Advanced Cruise Missile, a "stealth" weapon developed in the 1980s with the ability to evade detection by Soviet radar. The Air Force said in March that it had decided to retire the Advanced Cruise Missile fleet soon, and officials said after the breach that the missiles were being flown to Barksdale for decommissioning."
Decommissioning is the best time to swap in a blank dud warhead if you want to sell it, or stage a nuclear false flag event, and especially if you know the process by which they are decommissioned, so you can make a convincing blank and no one will go looking for it after the fact.
If a cobal of you government planned this to stage a false flag event, a nuke would unquestionably drive us into a state of perpetual fear and domination by our government. I fear for our future as free (wo)Men. - brokenspatula, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1Why do you people think this is some sort of conspiracy???
Is there any DECENT information whatsoever that you are basing your opinions on?- mikelieman, on 10/20/2007, -0/+2Well, the ENTIRE MILITARY STRUCTURE is built around preventing EXACTLY what supposedly happened.
- amsterdamordeth, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1We are talking about nuclear weapons, not hot coffee.

- OffPiste, on 10/20/2007, -0/+2Somehow I expect Ron Paul is responsiblefor this.
