Metal chair over head kills Tampa man in club

miamiherald.com — TAMPA, Fla. -- Authorities say a 23-year-old man was killed after getting hit over the head with a metal chair at a night club. Jose Daniel Cortes, of Tampa, died Saturday afternoon from head trauma following 10 hours in the hospital. His alleged assailant, 22-year-old Enoc Caulderon-Perez, faces first degree murder charges.
