McCain Calls for 'League of Democracies'

outsidethebeltway.com — Senator John McCain argues that the United States should convene a League of Democracies to get friendly nations to put more severe pressure on Iran. The League would be a semi-formal organization modeled on the G-8 that, unlike NATO, would focus primarily on non-military solutions to our common problems.

  • Dieseltrok, on 02/09/2008, -1/+0Very interesting, but it doesn't surprise me that McCain has the answers to a lot of problems...I also like the idea of Feingold working with McCain. I'm from Wisconsin. My favorite Wisconsin Senators are Herb Kohl and Feingold! Looking forward to more.
