Man struck and killed by train

stltoday.com — BELLEVILLE - Police say a pedestrian who was killed by a train here early today was a homeless man likely committing suicide. The 44-yr-old man was sitting on the side of the tracks leaning into the path of the train. He was struck and killed by a Norfolk Southern Railroad train near South 44th St & Citizens Park at approximately 12:29 a.m.
