Man shot to death by Oakland police is identified

sfgate.com — A man shot and killed by Oakland police after he allegedly tried to flee with an officer trapped in his car was identified today as 37-year-old Charley Griffin. The shooting happened about 2:35 a.m. Friday near 15th and Jefferson streets, just blocks from Oakland City Hall
