Longtime Arizona sportswriter Moran dies

azcentral.com — Moran, 55, covered Arizona State athletics for the East Valley Tribune from 1987 until 2004, when he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He worked for the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson from 1974, after graduating from Ohio University, until joining the Tribune. Moran moved to Phoenix in 1980 to cover a variety of sports for the Daily Star.
