Is there a liberal living today who is not an exact duplicate of all the other millions of liberals? If so, I'd love to interview him. Oh, it wouldn't bother me in the least for this man to carry a gun down the streets of my little town. I know he isn't gunning for me - and I'll say something else: I wish we had fewer laws, fewer restraints, and the O.K. for every one of us to openly carry. Shoot only if threatened. There'd be a lot less crime heppening.

Montana is full of "liberals", yet we have some of the least restrictive gun laws in the nation, fully supported by our Democratic Governor (we have a budget surplus as well).
If you have time to interview about 400,000 people, come on up. Painting entire populations with such a broad brush is always an instant failure.
Bush has run up a huge deficit, while growing the government faster than any President in history, other that FDR.
So, is there a conservative living today that isn't busy spending all my money, and bloating government? It is wonderful you have a budget surplus. I applaude you for it. The nation also would have a budget surplus if all the make-feel-good programs hadn't been enacted by LIBERALS years ago. Roosevelt did enough socialization in this country there isn't a whole lot more room for more. Taxpayer's money is in fact finite. I trust you know that the money is NOT the government's. It is mine, yours, everyone's who pays taxes. I pay taxes, but I've never gotten anything for my money except military protection and freeways, which is what I want to pay taxes for. I do NOT want to pay taxes for all these feely, touchy programs than whiners love. Of course, I'm not in line whining for more programs, more give-aways, etc. As far as I am concerned the rest of my tax dollars are wasted, and Obama wants MORE from me.
If you, however, are in your bed at night, sleeping soundly and a thief or worse gets in your house and he gets to you before the cops get to him, what happens? I truly hope you will never have to learn.
No sensible person wants crazies to have guns. No sensible person wants a gun except to keep himself and his family safe and/or to hunt wild animals. Why do liberals see this as so sinister? That has always baffled me, at least since so many of our citizens became panty-waists instead of real men and women. Could you enlighten me? Surely you don't think gun laws keep guns out of criminals hands! At least I hope no one is that naive. It would be tragic if one day you have to thank a gun owner for saving your skin.

No conservative Republican votes for tax increases and there was a time no conservative voted to keep pushing worthless give-away programs with my money. Only Democrats. Most Republicans in office are conservative. Most
Democrats in congress are liberal. As for your "Demoscrat controlled Congress". Bush had his way for 5 years, never vetoing a SINGLE bill that increased spending over and over.
You are a zealot, nothing more. Not a very good one at that. I am in favor of smaller government, gun rights, fiscal responsibility, caring for the poor and elderly, personal liberty. Yet, according to you, I am a liberal, and we all think the same.
