Masks are not necessary, and donning them in the context of a public demonstration is forbidden in some jurisdictions.

      I would have to assume masks are not forbidden in that part of the UK, but are still not necessary. I think the whole Guy Fawkes mask phenomenon is a bit out of control. I saw a Ron Paul supported standing in the median with her placard in a Guy Fawkes mask.
