If you listen to a police scanner, stream, or liveblogger etc. you often get much more perspective on the story than the mainstream media offers. - markmayhew, on 09/02/2008, -0/+1thanks gwen

probably "MarkMayhew" - gwensutton, on 09/02/2008, -0/+1Even though being concerned for your safety and the safety of others, I found your up to the minute news powerful. It was not rehearsed, it was real on the spot news as it was happening. Since you were planning on staying in the area that was a very creative and informative way of using Social Media. Not just another means of getting people to follow you on Twitter or increase the news ratings. (humm . . . I wonder if others are being paid for so much publicity about twitter).
