It’s absolutely no wonder why we are being taxed to death and losing our world leadership position. We cannot continue to be the whipping boy to the world on one hand and the police department to the world on the other. WE ARE JUST ABOUT BROKE, physically, mentally and spiritually.

    Washington, you are giving away what is not yours to give. I’ll be back later, I have to finish sharpening my pitchfork and there’s a few more chickens to pluck and I have to take the tar off the fire.

I guess if our government is considering reparations for blacks (none of whom are victems of slavery, and no LIVING victem of slavery is currently alive) for something 150 years ago we shouldn't be surprised.

    Here we go giving another diplomatic BJ for terrorist regimes... and for what? What exactly is Libya to us, and what value is a "diplomatic" tie to them? Worse... are we saying that Regan's airstrikes were unjustified? I'm sure the great communicator is rolling in his grave.

We owe them nothing except maybe a few more bombs if they do not pay up $2.7 Billion they owe the families of Flight 108! Anyone agreeing to pay this from the USA needs to be held on aiding terrorist charges!

And, if you can get your hands on a historically factual and not a politicially correct book, I think you'll find that they were the ones who started it off. I don't know about you, but it makes me want to bomb my own capital (in a, politically correct, sort of way).

    Extortion never ends. Libya being given this type of reparation for our retaliation in an attack that WE did not start will just result in every terrorist company lining up with bare rear ends ready for the United States to kiss.

    Saudi? Saudi has been funding the terrorists organizations against the 'rich Americans' ever since they got off their motheaten camels and plopped their fat rear ends in a Mercedes or whatever. They fund them primarily to keep the focus AWAY from the Saudi wealth... WHY is it the arab world turns their back on the tribe who calls themselves palestinians? Why in all the years of old araflat's reign didn't any of the Saudi princes assist them by giving them a portion of the sanddunes for their own country? Why is the focus on Israel and the United States and ALL infidels of course?

    To keep the palestinians from focusing on the Saudi wealth. as long as the hatred fires are kept burning against the West, Israel, etc., the Saudis feel safer. When the day comes that the desert rats called palestinians realize that their soul brothers, other arab tribes, who are living in unbelievable luxury, are playing them for fools, keeping the palest. focused on Israel, the West, all infidels, JUST so the Saudis and other wealthy beyond belief arab tribes don't have to help their own people.

    Just as the blacks in the United States flock to the muslim religion - to the very religion that sold their ancestors to the slave traders - the palestinians have traded their lives to be slaves to the other arab nations. The blacks in the United States have exchanged the white slave masters for the black slave masters, the j.jackson,sharpton,obamas, wrights, et al, who just continue enslaving these descendents of slaves all on promises of reparation, getting even, etc. They are OWED this and that... and like the foreign terrorists organization, the reparations will never end once you give in to the first nickel.

    Bush has effectively become the appeaser of the terrorists leaving the door wide open to completely destroy the United States. Thanks a lot.

    We the people do not have the right nor is it expected but resented by other nations to police the world. Foreign Aid is unconstitutional. Cut it off completely, we can't afford it.

    While the US economy tanks the corrupt thugs in DC are giving billions if not trillions of fiat money to every nation while our precious vets, whom many are homeless or on the verge left in the street to die with inadequate medical care and the VA Admin keeps denying them their hard earned benefits! It is no wonder most commit suicide however that too is kept from the American public.

    In addition, the global elite have given illegal aliens and legal immigrants that have never paid a damn dime into social security access to our social security. We are taxed to death to feed, house, educate, medically pay for, pay for their prison time, subsidize, etc.... our own displacement, while in the meantime being murdered, raped and killed by drunk illegal aliens on the road. And they have the nerve to call us bigots and racists. Excuse me! Welcome to the TURD world.

    Next up will be reparation for blacks. I do believe that will be the straw that broke the camels back. Stock up because you will need it.

    It is no wonder! These are the options left on the table - too many people seem to prefer that the US government bribe their way to peace. History shows that bribes' effects do not last, this is a lesson that has been repeated since Tripoli.

    The ignorant general public does not want US to invest in the weapons and Armed Forces they need to put an end to such regimes once and for all (or at least materially "send them back to the stone age", for they are already there spiritually).

    They rather ask for the government to sponsor their welfare and bail out people with poor judgement (from the sub-prime borrowers to their Wall Street counterparts) or look, starry eyed and with gaping mouth, at Barack Hussein Obama.

    There's a section of the koran that says (paraphrased) - kill all who are infidels - non believers - if you cannot overcome them, PRETEND TO BE THEIR FRIEND and continue building up your armies - as soon as you have built up your strength, kill them all.

    Now not all of our enemies are muslim - BUT they use the same strategy - con artists. Tell the crazy Americans what they want to hear and continue your efforts quietly.

    Look at Putin? Friends with Bush - good ol' boys together and the entire time, Putin was building up his forces. Remember Putin was the one who could not run for president again so he appointed himself Prime Minister knowing full well, the PM has more power. The president is a frontpiece and PM Putin is reorganizing russia to their former strength and ability to promote fear in every country adjacent or who was once part of Russia. And what did we do? If someone TOLD Pres. Bush this was the plan, he'd never have believed it.

    Sad situation - and like the palestin. rats, let one under the tent and they'll all come in.

The Libyans committed an act of war and then President Reagan retaliated militarily once the source of the terrorists was established. Now, we go ahead and grovel and pay your hard earned tax dollars to a Muslim government who despises us. It matters not whether the Libyan government paid the families of those they killed. They should have done so and more. For us to now pay them what amounts to a bribe for not developing weapons of mass destruction (we hope) is absolutely outrageous! That 41 Libyan civilians died in the raids is sad, but when you commit an act of war, you have to expect to take casualties when the enemy strikes back. Mr. Bush has made a big mistake and he has sunk to a new low in my estimation. Those in the State Department and the Congress who go along with this are fools as well. Watch the appreciation we get from Libya.

  • Christianptriot, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1the biggest mistake Reagan made in this situation was to not order a second, third and fourth wave of bombers after he discovered he didn't get Qaddafi on the first round. what cowardice - on the part of the people who are actually behind the idea of reparation to Libya in the first place.
