- theblueprint, on 06/06/2008, -1/+13People kiss.
- DrCrankenstein, on 06/06/2008, -2/+11People being all over each other in public is inappropriate regardless of gender. Saying that people should stop just because it's two men or women is discriminatory *****.
- Lucas123, on 06/06/2008, -1/+10Sex in public falls under the time-honored "get-a-room" standard. A passionate smooch shouldn't warrant much more than a raised eyebrow, but if you're performing a tonsillectomy with your tongue, that's another story. That would definitely make me uncomfortable.
- inactive, on 06/06/2008, -1/+5Did you see the pic of the it she was kissing?
- onehipdad, on 06/07/2008, -0/+3I moonlighted for five years at a sports arena as a guest attendant, and I would treat this the same as I would a heterosexual couple or foul language: Knock it off, or leave. I invariably got the old Freedom of Speech/Expression BS, but guess what? Private property baby, so get the hell out if you've got other plans than watching the event like the others.
- elhaf, on 06/06/2008, -4/+7Helooo? People? The explanation to the kids is simple - 2 chicks = hot; 2 dudes = gross. You have to teach kids this sometime.
- mcrunch2, on 06/06/2008, -0/+3Get a room!
- dyshez, on 06/06/2008, -2/+4If my kids see same sex activity they're going to ask about it. The frustrating thing is the couple kissing in front of my kids (age 5, 7) are forcing sexuality into their consciousness. ALL BEING "GAY" MEANS IS I HAVE/PREFER SEX WITH THE SAME GENDER. There is no other unique quality to it. You introduce kids to "gayness" and you're simultaneously introducing them to sexuality. It's just that simple. How do you explain it to them? "People kiss," doesn't cut it. I kiss other men but I don't make out with them. It's confusing and very inconsiderate because kids shouldn't have to deal with sex until they're older IMO. Maybe if people worried more about being considerate and sensitive to children instead of just satiating their hormonal urges, kids could remain kids a little bit longer. Any "gay" lifestyle and activities are sexual in nature. Period.
- Y0tsuya, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2If people want to make out they should get a room.
- HSlipwiffle, on 06/06/2008, -3/+5Seems pretty hot to me.
- inactive, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2Yeah, the alien from Omicron Persei 8.
- droo31, on 06/06/2008, -2/+4Let this be a lesson: it is clearly only OK for girls to kiss other girls if they are hot.
- wishninja, on 06/06/2008, -2/+4One time I was at the bar having a few after work drinks shooting pool. Well after a while some friends called and asked me to go out to eat with them. Well they went to a pretty nice place and I showed up freshly drunk from the bar. I was loud and cursing, just fine at the bar, but not for the restaurant. Someone said to me "hey you know you are making a lot of people uncomfortable with your language". And even though I had freedom of speech, I adjusted the volume of my voice and avoided harsh language as I finished my meal. So how about the lesbians? They should have not continued kissing in that way, held hands, maybe a giggle or a glance here or there, if their team hits a home run maybe a smooch on the cheek.
- Cognoscenti247, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Not sure why you mentioned Huckabee, but "passivenot" has a good point. There has been a cloaked, or in many instances overt, movement to normalize perversions. Who you love is who you love, who you love romantically belongs in your bedroom and like it or not aberrant behaviour has consequences. Deal with it.
- inactive, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Personally I dont care if its homosexual or heterosexual, a casual kiss is OK but if anyone thinks this chic was just casually kissing the thing she was with they havent seen her in action.
She's basically a porn star wannabe. - Cognoscenti247, on 06/17/2008, -0/+1Hence "belongs in your bedroom" and "aberrant behaviour has consequences."
- Chaya, on 06/06/2008, -7/+8He had the right to ask them to stop.
- knde, on 06/07/2008, -1/+2Agreed. However, were the ushers requesting the same of the heterosexual couples who displayed public displays of affection? If they didn't, it's a double standard.
- dyshez, on 06/06/2008, -1/+2You must not have kids elhaf
- inactive, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1Lesbians OK, dykes not so much.
- yacoub114, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1I suppose you are a proponent of animal-human lovemaking? Or Incest? At what point does it suddenly become ok to draw the line and say ... that is not right, that is wrong! We must have standards. Even in a public place, their are standards of decorum. Sex is not permitted in public. So if some couple Guy/Girl, Guy/Guy, Girl/Girl are Spleen-Diving off of each others uvulas and it is making people uncomfortable, they should have enough respect for others around them and either stop or move along to a more secluded area.
- inactive, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1YES! THANK YOU!
- inactive, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1Dugg for dykes.
- Pillage, on 06/08/2008, -0/+0To be fair, the only reason they were there was because it was bat day....
- mikesbaker, on 06/07/2008, -1/+1would you respond by staring angrily? that's my guess
/why did i respond to a troll account??? wtf me? - nomilkforsanta, on 06/06/2008, -5/+5The usher has a right to say, "Stop", if he is offended and the ladies have a right to keep kissing. The GLBT community needs to stop using NAZI ways to get what they want.
- wishninja, on 06/06/2008, -2/+2See diggers, this is why it is necessary to make sure there is at least a low level of new Huckabee postings on digg. These trolls start roaming the halls if the don't get their fix.
- RapnGranny, on 06/07/2008, -1/+0"Waaaa, waaaaaa. I'm gay so I should be able to do anything I want."
Get a room, with no windows. - KokomoNYC, on 06/07/2008, -1/+1"Lesbian kiss"
Yay!
"along with eating garlic fries, they were giving each other brief kisses."
Eeewwww! - scoetrain, on 06/06/2008, -2/+2Don't even try. Just smother them.
- ichbeineinrcg, on 06/07/2008, -1/+1The Man Law commercial that never aired, but should have.
- inactive, on 06/06/2008, -5/+4Shes an attention whore. She was a contestant on the TILA Tequila show.
People can kiss in public I don't care, but if you're at a place like a ballpark and it bothers the people around you and someone asks you to stop why not just stop and say ***** it.
To press the issue is to ask for a confrontation. If I'm sitting in a crowd picking my nose for 15 Min's and they guy comes up and asks me to please stop I would hope that I would. Yes I have a "right" to, but its called good manners to do what you can not to offend the people around you whether you think their POV is right or not in public places. Especially where kids are hanging out. - Y0tsuya, on 06/07/2008, -2/+2Mommy, when you kiss me why didn't you stick your tongue in my mouth like the two nice ladies there? Why don't you love me mommy?
- wishninja, on 06/06/2008, -2/+1Point by point: I mentioned Huckabee because he said the same thing during the course of his campaign you should look the guy up I think you would vote for him.
Passivenot made a good point that he is a misguided *****. The gay rights issue was not the blow back of some film oddity it came from necessity. See gays, were already in american society and as it turns out they were in every society and even worse it has been here as long as humans have existed. Many papers published that it was already "normalized" by nature. Repression was seen as counterproductive and unnecessary if these people didn't have a mental disorder and could not be deterred by laws and if their actions are nonviolent than why the brutality? The secrete of human sexuality is out and knowledge can not be erased you deal with it. Going around pretending that there are no gay people in this world and this is some kind of movement aimed as changing something is hysterical retoric that should be saved for shock jocks and shock ministers. There is no movement out there trying to turn people gay only humans getting to understand humans and finding out there is nothing to fear about acknowledging that those people are alive today and they are and have always been normal. You can not normalize something if it was already normal. The only thing changing is others reaction to the fact. - sickofgays, on 06/07/2008, -3/+1These perverts should have been beaten with rubber hoses. Queers are the most disgusting of all perverts. Try that crap in front of my kids and see how I respond
- passivenot, on 06/06/2008, -10/+5Last year the Cannes Film Festival presented a movie portraying a "love" affair between a man and his horse. It was given special recognition for the "bold" effort to present what...well, what humans do! It was lauded as being sensitive to the human condition, even though it may seem odd or abnormal to others. Sound familiar? I can remember when the homosexual thing was brought into the open under the same BS. And, of course, it's all because "we are free to chose, so stay out of our busness!"
So, we can look forward to humans and animals making out in public. Polygamy? Of course. Incest? Why not? It's all a matter of freedom, isn't it? - InvisibleInk, on 06/06/2008, -7/+2Explain it to your 5 year old son or daughter in 10 words or less.
