Largest Naval Deployment Since 1991 Heads For Persian Gulf
yff365.com — The largest naval deployment since 1991 is unfolding as no less than three U.S. warships make their way towards the Persian Gulf in what observers are calling an “unprecedented” build-up, while Kuwait has activated its highest war alert in anticipation of a potential attack on Iran.

- MarkEarhart, on 08/12/2008, -0/+33This could very well be the straw that breaks the camel's back and plunge the US into full martial law. I can see a "Gulf of Tonkin" repeat or even a "USS Liberty repeat". This can only benefit the oligarchs.
- richmomz, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4Papers please!
- vbullinger, on 08/13/2008, -0/+2I'm sure that they're just out for a stroll. Nothing to see here...

- tykwondingo, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4this made me queasy...
The fact that this isn't being covered in the MSM is pretty ***** scary.
Let's get this to the front page. - joshstone100, on 08/13/2008, -0/+2We are on a need (not) to know basis.

- Catspaw, on 08/13/2008, -1/+28I hope the soldiers involved wake up and realise who they are really working for - for people who want to see the downfall of the US.
Mark Dice had a very good idea, sending documentaries to the soldiers that show that criminal elements in the US government were behind 9/11. The more the troops are educated, the less of a problem the world will have. - 911ArtStudent, on 08/13/2008, -0/+27Here are a couple of other sources for this story:

- angusm, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3Debka likes to run stories that suggest that the US is either doing or about to do something that Israeli hawks want. The comments on the Middle East Times article suggest that this is just a routine rotation of carrier battle groups, and that the ones currently there will go off station once the new ships arrive.
- sphira, on 08/13/2008, -0/+19Looks like it could be game-time -
as I once said - during the election transition
after that anything is possible -
I am and was hoping for more pregame
Many things to do -- GovernmentSp00k, on 08/13/2008, -0/+7They are definitely gearing up for "something" otherwise why on earth would they be going though all of this? It's a huge operation to undertake for nothing. Not a peep from mainstream news either, that I have heard. Of course the TV reality always waits for poop to hit the fan then jump in with their "reporters" and "hard hitting journalists" once everything is underway and the Pentagon gives them a go-ahead and press releases to broadcast.
Mainstream news is all about paid for pundits parroting government press releases anymore. The true 4th estate. Nothing about truly informing or educating the populace. Or reporting all the facts of a given story they only present what they want you to see. As long as the story fits the plan. When we are not being bombarded with Britney Spears child custody updates, what celebrity got out of rehab this week, and the latest "kidnapping mystery!" or politicans love affair scandal. We are supposed to think all that stuff is what's important and issues we should be concerned about.- sphira, on 08/13/2008, -0/+9Completely agree -
When and where there is silence, that is where you will find the real news -
There also always seems to be a "distracting" event in parallel with a real one which, of course, is always played down and obfuscated - - GovernmentSp00k, on 08/13/2008, -0/+6Yes..And of course we are supposed to believe it's "all coincidence!" as usual. Anybody who dare question why things are the way they are is stereotyped "conspiracy theorist!" and other dumb names.
I don’t know of any media outlet that has NOT been accused of bias and unfairness at some point. When it’s their man who’s being interviewed/questioned/reported on, people get defensive, and the person reporting that news is usually the person who gets blamed. I swear… If I have to hear the words “liberal media” for too much longer, I’m going to pull out my hair.
The mainstream controlled news is a wasteland of sold out puppets, lies & blatant disinformation to the extreme. Next up: Britney's child custody battle update with live photos of Anna Nicoles corpse! The sad part is, that's what a majority of dumbed down non critical thinking American citizens want to watch. Look at the numbers. They own every media outlet and all the "real assets" to tell you the "truth." Misdirection is the favorite ingredient of the "Layer Cake." Mainstream media pushes the lies and agenda of the global elites like Murdoch, et al. You can't really blame him I guess, he's just buying everything because he CAN, know what I mean? He's as heartless as the rest..
Not to get too far off topic, but remember former NY Governor Eliot Spitzers "prostitute scandal!" in March of this year? Details of his sex life were broadcast on all TV channels plus cable. From morning to night, on and on. You couldn't get away from it for nearly a month. All of the federal wiretap arranging and FBI probing and federal law enforcement investigation going on about his "affair with a prostitute." Sordid details of his sex life, personal affairs and everything about the prostitute "Kristen." That is all we heard from the fake news. Yet they never broadcast anything to do with the REAL reason Spitzer was politically assassinated...
"The US news media failed to draw the obvious connection between the bizarre federal law enforcement investigation and leak campaign about the private life of New York Governor Spitzer and Spitzer's all out attack on the Bush administration for its collusion with predatory lenders.
While the international credit system grinds to a halt because of a superabundance of bad mortgage loans made in the US, the news media failed to cover the details of Spitzer's public charges against the White House.
Yet when salacious details were leaked about alleged details of Spitzer's private life, they took that information and made it the front page news for days. " Why Eliot Spitzer was assassinated The predatory lending industry has a partner in the White House http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/291.html
Why should mainstream press bother to report that incredibly important detail? It doesn't serve interests of the ultra wealthy elites who own the networks. None of the fake news TV ever mentioned one peep of it, ever. It was blacked out completely.
Good documentary if you haven't already seen it:

'Outfoxed examines how media empires, led by Rupert Murdoch's Fox News, have been running a "race to the bottom" in television news. This film provides an in-depth look at Fox News and the dangers of ever-enlarging corporations taking control of the public's right to know." - joshstone100, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3GS - Thanks for the Eliot Spitzer link and commentary. I was not aware of that at all. There's much to be said about learning something new every day. I didn't see anything on TV about it either. They only broadcast his sexual scandal as you said. Turns out it was a political assassination. Otherwise why would they go through all the trouble? Politicians have affairs all the time. He isn't exactly going against the tide on that one. These matters are never what they appear to be on the surface. Or all of what we are told they are. You can't depend on TV to give you the full story on anything these days either.
Also do you have another URL for Outfoxed I can't get it to load in my browser (IE) thx! - GovernmentSp00k, on 08/14/2008, -0/+3johnstone100: You're welcome. Thanks for your acknowledgement and I'm glad you got something out of it. That's what we're here for spread the knowledge! I wasn't aware of this either until receiving email from a friend with the link. I wondered why his "sex life" was on all channels plus cable non-stop for nearly a month. There had to be more to it. Turns out there was.
re Outfoxed: Sorry that's the only link I have! Did you try Firefox? I have similar problems like that with Internet Explorer from time to time, websites won't load, videos won't play correctly, and so on. Loading the page in Firefox usually works. Try it! Hope you get it sorted okay

- aristone, on 08/13/2008, -0/+1Sadly, they are the up and coming fascists. Yes fascists...they are taking that route for the communist to "capitalist" transition.
- richmomz, on 08/13/2008, -0/+13Everyone's just being paranoid - I'm sure the Navy is just having a big bass fishing tournament or something.
- GovernmentSp00k, on 08/13/2008, -0/+7LOL! sure that's what it's all about. Fishing in the gulf. Then a shark hunting expedition etc. Perhaps a few rummy tournaments while onboard?
- silentboom, on 08/13/2008, -0/+6Ha, yea I head they rented the carriers out to Carnival. Cruise anyone?

- 7Mystery, on 08/13/2008, -0/+8I am starting tho think to US told Georgia to start this war so they can gear up for Iran without any media attention.
- joshstone100, on 08/13/2008, -0/+1It wouldn't surprise me.
- Rabbit63, on 08/14/2008, -0/+3The US gave Georgia the go ahead alright. They were holding joint training exercises with Georgia, training for the genocide apparently, up till a week before Georgia attacked.
There are even reports of Ukrainian, casualties amongst the Georgian dead, and Possibly Israelis and Americans. A Negro among others who they think is American.
They perhaps thought they'd tie Russia up with some domestic problems, they probably didn't expect such a massive and instant response and they might have had the idea to push Russia further back from their pipeline, by closing them out of South Ossetia.
All of which have backfired as the Russians came down VERY hard, very fast and they are using the excuse to carry out some movements of troops and weapons into more strategically useful places in prep for the attack on Iran. They WILL retaliate if Iran is attacked, this has made that clear. They do have many Russian citizens at those Nuclear "targets" of course and the biggest mistake Georgia made was to kill Russian citizens. - VitriolAndAngst, on 08/14/2008, -0/+1I think the poor Georgian's don't realize that they are only good for a distraction. Besides losing a few troops when Putin rolls over them -- this is all to provoke some larger conflict. The US has ZERO ability, other than the "big bomb" to respond to Russia in kind.
So Georgia is going to get trampled -- and do you think the NeoCons give a rat's rear end what happens to America's reputation? No. They want war profits and martial law.

- oconnor11, on 08/13/2008, -1/+4Funny how this story talks about this huge armada but in the comments after it, a couple of people can see the exact carriers in U.S. docks that they proclaim are heading to the Middle East. What's going on here?
- ThinkOutTheBox, on 08/13/2008, -0/+2Trusting a news source by the name of "Young Famous and Fashionable" doesn't seem like a good place to get good news from. I'm guessing you would agree?
- Rabbit63, on 08/14/2008, -0/+1!
- VitriolAndAngst, on 08/14/2008, -0/+1It could be "stock photos" of the boats.
You have reports that they are moving in place, and someone digs up the photos of the boats. What is surprising with that?
- DigitalBob, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4The USS Theodore Roosevelt is still in port:
http://www.stratfor.com/analysis/u_s_naval_update_ ...
The USS Ronald Reagan is near China. Only the USS Abraham Lincoln is near the Arabian Penninsula.
Let's get the facts straight. No thumb here. - blaker00, on 08/14/2008, -0/+2please impeach bush and his cronies now before it's too late.
