L.A. Council Offers $500,000 Reward to Catch Serial Killer
latimes.com — The Los Angeles City Council today approved a $500,000 reward to help catch a serial killer believed responsible for 10 slayings in South Los Angeles and Inglewood over the last two decades. The first known killing occurred in 1985, when Debra Jackson, 29, was shot three times in the chest; her body was found in an alley near West Gage Avenue.

- BotchaMcCoola, on 09/04/2008, -13/+4How about that smiling Bonzo in the Whitehouse. Does he qualify as a serial killer? Isn't he responsible for tens of thousands of deaths - including more US deaths than the 911 terrorists?
- theycensoredme, on 09/04/2008, -1/+1Dude, give it a rest! That has no place on this article.
- BotchaMcCoola, on 09/04/2008, -1/+1Just keeping things in perspective. I guess there are acceptable and unacceptable mass killers?

you get 30% of the score! - MonkeyNews, on 09/04/2008, -1/+3No way in hell one person would get the entire amount even if they marched the murderer into a police station. There would be endless bureaucracy and red tape surrounding the reward money and it's allocation.
- PopcornDave, on 09/04/2008, -0/+1Not to mention the taxes you'd have to pay on that. Would that amount qualify at the same rate that game show winners pay? Isn't that around 45%? Don't survivor million dollar winners only get about 675K?
Not that any of the above has anything to do with catching a serial killer, if that is indeed what he/she/they are.
