    What would have happened if some good citizen - with a LEGAL gun and concealed carry permit were in the area? Bet ya' they could have saved someone before the beloved police forced wandered over and took care of things.

    Just one more case to showcase how people had better worry about the anti-gun crowd. They want to take weapons away from the good guys and make sure that the bad guys are the ONLY ones to have access to firearms.
  • SamMcPhy, on 07/25/2008, -0/+1Lets see, according to other published stories about how San Francisco deals with illegal immigrants who commit felonies the procedure is as follows:
    Assume he is a juvenile no mater how old he looks or actually is and no matter what he's done - this to shield him from those horrible immigration agents who have access to the adult jail population. Those same evil agents would charge him with a crime, finger print him, put his fingerprints in their data base, check those prints to see if he has committed other crimes, put him on trial for serious offenses (otherwise just deport him), if found guilty sentence him to prison. And of course he would have that stigmatizing criminal record for the rest of his live. A criminal record for an illegal immigrant is of course the worst thing that can happen to a person who says "I just want to support my family" no mater what crime he commits in the view of the San Francisco Mayor and City Council.
    Next, use city funds to pay for a plane ticket out of the country to whatever city he chooses in the country he is from.
    Next, sneak him to the airport so ICE has no opportunity to arrest him.
    Next, destroy all records about him since he is a juvenile.
    Next, if he shows up again, repeat the juvenile - free ticket process.

    Yes, it certainly appears God has given them over to reprobate minds. (One of the meanings of a reprobate mind is the person is unable to make correct decisions even in their own self interest.)
