One reason I'm jealous of them though, is that they seem to have the simple understanding that murderers should be executed, not kept in jail for 30 years, only to be freed by terrorists.

    The reason Palestinians were dispelled was for security reasons - similar to the "internment camp" idea during WW2.

    Why do Arabs want to destroy the Israeli regime? The same reason the blacks wanted to destroy the South African regime. You want the Palestinians to build something useful on their vast, vast lands? Their lands were stolen, so what lands are you talking about? The lands outside of Palestine? That's like saying, "Why do the blacks in South Africa complain about the Afrikaaners having such a tiny country. The blacks have ALL of Africa to themselves." Get a clue, Zionism is racism.

    why keep going back to the past?
    
    this is the status quo. why not make the best of it? for example, have the palestinian schools stop wasting their time on hateful anti-israeli propaganda. make the arafat family give back the many millions they stole from their people. make the hamas govt stop trying to provoke war.
    and most of all, try to stop the "poor us, we can't do anything coz the israelis are mean to us" mentality. israel withdrew from the gaza strip and from lebanon. now do something with yourselves.

    the western culture cherishes life and freedom. muslim fanatics truly think that by killing as many western civilians as possible, and then themselves, they will get to have sex with 72 virgins (females, i assume, although i'm not sure that is specified). that's why these two cultures will never see eye to eye. their most basic morals are entirely different.
    
    i admit that at times, israel needs to temporarily restrict freedom from the arab population. however, this is done only when there's no choice, and self-defense must be used. and a supreme court (which is considered very left-winged in israel)'s decision is generally needed for that.
