- Lucas123, on 01/16/2009, -8/+789Please do not use the term "Asshat" to refer to members of the KKK. We find it offensive, and, quite frankly, insulting to asses the world over.
Sincerely,
The Asshat Society of America. - fluidfoundation, on 01/16/2009, -7/+336That's it. I'm not sending the KKK a Christmas card this year.
- inactive, on 01/16/2009, -13/+338KKK Asshats? That could be the phrase of the year.
- ForumDriv, on 01/17/2009, -11/+335If we let gay people marry, what's next, a black man in the White House? Oh wait...
- cquinnd, on 01/16/2009, -9/+239I'm gonna make it a point to buy gay/lesbian wedding and greeting cards now.
- iambrucenolan, on 01/16/2009, -15/+239KKK sucKs!
- plecostomus, on 01/17/2009, -10/+198Remember kids: when you demonize homosexuals and deny their civil rights, citing your religious beliefs as a reason, you're just like the KKK!
- Shazbuckle, on 01/17/2009, -1/+183sure to cost them tens of dollars...xD
- sibos, on 01/17/2009, -1/+153I wonder if they got my Happy Martin Luther King Day card yet.....
- boo1, on 01/16/2009, -2/+136I always wondered what they called those things on their heads..
- Chompy, on 01/17/2009, -4/+114Indeed. Is this like a reverse PR thing? Hell I'm *more* likely to buy ***** from companies that piss off the KKK, not less.
- Fib0112, on 01/16/2009, -0/+108Shellfish, sir, not shell food. Pistachios are shell food. Delicious pistachios :-)
- betheturtle, on 01/17/2009, -2/+96I am. One of the gay ones.
- SIRBERUS, on 01/17/2009, -2/+82So I'm honestly not sure, but if anyone knows the answer let me know...
Do the "white christian KKK" members believe Jesus Christ was white? Or do they understand that he was middle-eastern, but let it slide because, hey, he was Jesus?
I've never quite understood that about white-supremacist Christians. - thatoneguydunno, on 01/16/2009, -12/+84Did the big ugly angry men at KKK just admit that they not only send stupid greeting cards to each other, but spend time browsing the collection?
Wait, is that why they have those stupid hats, they're girls? - inactive, on 01/17/2009, -2/+73Turning to the KKK for moral guidance is like asking Homer Simpson for dieting tips.
- ZeeZee2k, on 01/17/2009, -1/+67btw, do the klan members voluntarily show up to work on martin luther king day?
- raggydoll, on 01/16/2009, -12/+76Dugg for the "May all your Christmas' be white" picture!!
- OrangeTide, on 01/17/2009, -2/+66O SNAP!
- churler, on 01/17/2009, -0/+63He's not part of the KKK. He's part of the ASA.
- OrangeTide, on 01/17/2009, -3/+66Last I checked white americans ignore what the KKK says.
I don't think I'll take moral advice from a bunch of cowards in hoods known for lynching people they don't like. - FasterGun, on 01/17/2009, -1/+63Protection from discrimination based on sexual orientation is a civil right, and doesnt need to be voted on.
- speel, on 01/17/2009, -2/+64O man my white fragile mind is corrupted because of hallmark cards, oh dear.
- lohphat, on 01/17/2009, -17/+78I didn't know the RNC had a marketing department.
- fass, on 01/17/2009, -1/+59"Since when is marriage a civil right?"
In the USA? Well, the first instance I can think of is since 1967, when its Supreme Court ruled that "marriage is one of the 'basic civil rights of man'" in Loving vs. Virginia.
Less locally, one need only look to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that defines marriage as a fundamental human right in its article 16. - OneRottenTomato, on 01/16/2009, -17/+72Just out of sheer stupidity, Hallmark should put out one greeting card for people who love eating crustaceans just to show how flaming hypocritical these strict "God's Law" following asshates (KKK or non KKK) really are.
That's a God Law, right? Death to people who eat shell food? - pintomp3, on 01/17/2009, -6/+60jansie: It's not hatred of Christianity, it's hatred of the Christian right. The difference is the Christian right merges their religion with politics and the law. A good comparison would be Sharia law. You can hate the Taliban without hating Islam the same way you can hate the Christian right without hating Christianity.
- BigVi, on 01/17/2009, -10/+59Anyone else wondering what Mormons and Christian right must be thinking now? They are on the same side as the KKK.
- OrangeTide, on 01/17/2009, -2/+49most(all?) religious fundamentalists pick whatever texts that support their own views.
KKK members that use Christianity as the explanation for their actions are of course going to only focus on bits of text taken completely out of context and interpret it freely(or maybe a better word would be "warp"). - dhughes, on 01/17/2009, -4/+51KKK Kombo breaker?
- iatethecake, on 01/17/2009, -0/+46and send it to the KKK?
- lilhelper, on 01/17/2009, -1/+46Hallmarks profits are down $16.33!!!!
Oh NO!
Announce plans for a merge.. - inactive, on 01/17/2009, -4/+45Who gives a ***** about the KKK, they have like what, 5 members left.
- Adam420, on 01/17/2009, -14/+53Gays are the best.
- twiztidsinz, on 01/17/2009, -2/+39BRB.. gotta pick up some Hallmark cards
- einrobstein, on 01/17/2009, -1/+38The scary thing is that they probably still have hundreds of members.
- BigCalhoun, on 01/17/2009, -1/+38Well, since we have the press release and an address for correspondence, why not send them some gay and lesbian greeting cards?
- MaynardJK, on 01/17/2009, -1/+38You my friend, are a ***** idiot. Why do you suppose those marriage licenses came about in the first place?
It was to keep black men from marrying white women. You just hilariously proved plecostomus's point. - einrobstein, on 01/17/2009, -0/+35By giving the KKK media attention we can fully expose their idiocy. Do you honestly think that they'll win many converts from this article?
- Neverclear, on 01/16/2009, -10/+44I counted 3 neo-con phrases in that poster used by the Bush administration over the last 8 years.
There you go Mr. Ex-president. Your core constituency in action. - buckrogers1965, on 01/17/2009, -1/+35They only see pictures of the white jesus with the brown beard and hair.
- DickBreath, on 01/17/2009, -0/+33What are civil rights? What are human rights? What are 'inalienable' rights? (Ever heard the word inalienable?)
If marriage is not a civil right, then soon maybe sex between consenting adults is not a civil right. Maybe control of your own body should not be a civil right. Thinking your own independent thoughts should not be a civil right.
Where does it stop? How arbitrary do you define civil rights?
Marriage is NOT a privilege. Newsflash: people have been getting married since BEFORE the US Government was formed -- no license required. - inactive, on 01/17/2009, -1/+31There is a lot and I mean a lot of hypocrisy in the KKK, which by now is a very little group and considered "backwards" by other white supremist groups, but if you think too hard about it, you'll get a headache because you can't reason stupidity. I mean every time these people buy a product with a bar code or eat a chocolate chip cookie, they're using things invented by black inventors.
- cfuse, on 01/18/2009, -0/+30You can't show up to work if you don't have a job.
- iambrucenolan, on 01/16/2009, -10/+39Are you a member of KKK?
- z00k, on 01/17/2009, -1/+28You're a dumbass.
- z00k, on 01/17/2009, -0/+28Have you seen their front page image?

Which reminds me of only one thing:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nX2Uqnc7v9I - 40yrOldVirgin, on 01/17/2009, -1/+28That burgundy tunic looks FA-BU-LOUS.
Queer Eye for the KKK Guy. - Rikkochet, on 01/17/2009, -1/+28Redundant phrase of the year.
- seltaeb4, on 01/17/2009, -4/+29That's a shame, because when they get all dolled up in their gowns and hoods, don't they look just totally FAAAABBBULOUS???!!!11!!! ;*
