Judge Orders La. School District to Stop Bible Giveaways
foxnews.com — Because someone might maybe feel uncomfortable because someone else is being given a free Bible, the ACLU is forcing everyone to stop being given one. I wonder if they would also force the Muslims to stop teaching Islam in that same school.

- karishore, on 04/24/2008, -4/+1the United State of America was founded with the Bible.
- alkajazz, on 04/24/2008, -0/+3That's laughable
- karishore, on 04/24/2008, -3/+1why? It's true.
- ReverendJon, on 04/23/2008, -5/+4The first amendment Barr's the US government from establishing a religion giving bibles away is in no way establishing a religion. according to the vast majority of non Christians the Bible is nothing more then literature so why are they threaten by it? we need to get these judges to read the constitution rather then case law and opinion!
- drachemorder, on 04/23/2008, -5/+4This judge needs to be impeached, removed from office, and barred from ever again working in any field even remotely related to law.
- priamel, on 04/23/2008, -4/+4So long as the state does not buy Bible for the expressed purpose of evangelizing, all is well. The ACLU is just fundraising from the religio-phobic Richard Dawkins crowd.
- StarWarsFan, on 04/23/2008, -5/+4giantdouche, it's a very good analogy. You opt to take free Bibles too. Nobody's forcing you to take a Bible.
The ACLU's decision here is one of the most unconstitutional and discriminatory things I've ever read. I doubt the ACLU would stop free Qur'an givaways. I agree with drachemor. This judge is a disgrace to the Constitution and needs to be removed from office immediately.
