- godzillaWax, on 05/05/2008, -2/+14That's not nearly good enough.
- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -1/+2ok ok - castrate him, sew his nuts to his forehead, then release him after his picture's been well publicized.
- firekhan, on 05/06/2008, -1/+3did you know he is a jew......the media isnt letting it out. i wonder why ??
- sgtbutterscotch, on 05/06/2008, -1/+2because it doesn't have anything to do with anything?
- Jan33, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1Thats interesting in so far as if its true, he wasn't in the Hitler youth. His ***** must come from somewhere else.
- earthforce1, on 05/05/2008, -1/+10Poetic justice would see him repeatedly gang-raped in prison.
- blaze03, on 05/05/2008, -0/+44As a 23 year old, this whole thing still blows my mind. I just can't comprehend how horrible it is. I'm just thinking to myself - at every point/phase of my lifetime, every single memory I have, no matter how long ago it seems - this woman was trapped in that basement.
This man doesn't deserve the right to die by quick execution. He deserves to be locked up in a 5'x5' cell in solitary confinement until the day he dies. - Davisourus, on 05/05/2008, -3/+4I sentence you to see the film "little children". I agree, though, this fellow was sick. But I wonder if psychologists studying to understanding him can prevent things like this in the future.
- Lyph5, on 05/05/2008, -1/+7There is no understanding. The reason this kind of thing gets so much coverage is because people want to hear about it. Why? Because the thought process behind such actions are so alien to the average person that you simply cannot wrap your mind around it. I doubt that a team of professionals studying this man will shed any light on why he did it.
- KMartSheriff, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2I'd gladly shed some light on him with a crowbar.
- Lyph5, on 05/05/2008, -1/+7There is no understanding. The reason this kind of thing gets so much coverage is because people want to hear about it. Why? - Yamoth, on 05/05/2008, -1/+5I am probably one of the biggest protester of capital punishment but for this case. I can't see anything, not even a death sentence could even come close to the crime this man committed.
- HarryBauzonia, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2I am a supporter of capital punishment. But for this case, I don't want him to die a quick and painless death. I want to see him locked up in a tiny cell, completely isolated...no visitors, no TV, no reading material, no sunshine...until he dies alone and miserable.
Then he can pay for his crimes in hell. - albatross2147, on 05/06/2008, -2/+1Like your concept of appropriate puishment hell is non-existent
- HarryBauzonia, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2I am a supporter of capital punishment. But for this case, I don't want him to die a quick and painless death. - godzillaWax, on 05/05/2008, -2/+14That's not nearly good enough.
- gta3uzi, on 05/05/2008, -9/+70Again, I usually put a fairly high value on all life, but I'd be (very) willing to be his executioner if nobody else wants to.
- DrunkMc, on 05/05/2008, -8/+23I'll be your backup incase you get sick. We wouldn't want this to be postponed.
- NoCt1, on 05/05/2008, -0/+5Wait, I want in on this action! What If we draw straws Or we can find something the three of us can do? Firing Squad?
- cannarymburns, on 05/05/2008, -1/+2we'll bury him alive! (of course, we would first have to digg him a grave)
- prleet, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Before you three shoot him, can I pull his nails out with a plier? Please Please please!

- NoCt1, on 05/05/2008, -0/+5Wait, I want in on this action! What If we draw straws Or we can find something the three of us can do? Firing Squad?
- KSUdesigner, on 05/05/2008, -5/+23I'd rather see this guy spend his remaining days locked up in a dirty cell. Death is too easy for this sick *****.
- Ph34rb0t, on 05/05/2008, -2/+2I'd be more keen on implanting a RFID tag in his brain, exiling him and making it open season year round on exiles within the designated country.
- Lyph5, on 05/05/2008, -6/+4Because cruel and unusual punishment makes you better than him? Or is it because you figure since he's a 'monster' you can drop to his level for punishment? He needs to have a fair trial and be sentenced to a term determined to be fair if he is found guilty.
- NoCt1, on 05/05/2008, -0/+4@lyph5
And If it was you that was locked in the cellar forced to take Old guy Meat whenever? You would probably think differently.- Lyph5, on 05/05/2008, -2/+2Right, I would think that. But I'd still rather him get a fair trial and get the punishment that the law sees fit if he is found guilty. One of the things that separates us from people like him is that we don't treat people like things. He has rights, even if he is a monster, and violating those rights is wrong. I do hope he gets the maximum sentence the law allows.
But... if someone mentions the phrase "short eyes" when he's introduced into general population, what can you do if someone stabs him? - Christ0s, on 05/05/2008, -2/+2thats why victims aren't responsible for the criminal justice system.
- quill, on 05/05/2008, -1/+1"thats why victims aren't responsible for the criminal justice system." -- Christ0s
This bears repeating. This person needs to be removed from society, but anything amounting to torture is wholly inappropriate, regardless of how much torturing he did.
Yes, on an emotional level a large variety of nasty punishments has crossed my mind, we simply CANNOT allow ourselves to become that sort of people. - ElAssoWipo, on 05/05/2008, -1/+2Oh quit being such a pussy bitch.
That's a sick *****. He serves no purpose and is a clear danger to society. Just shoot him in the back of the head.
You kill innocent dogs for biting other dogs but you won't kill a conscious individual who chose to rape his kids for 20+ years.
It's ***** ridiculous. That man has no value, I'd rather pay to keep a sick dog alive than pay to see this man receive social services, food and shelter.
In fact I wouldn't even want to pay for the bullet. Just put him in a dark room and wait until he starves to death.
- Lyph5, on 05/05/2008, -2/+2Right, I would think that. But I'd still rather him get a fair trial and get the punishment that the law sees fit if he is found guilty. One of the things that separates us from people like him is that we don't treat people like things. He has rights, even if he is a monster, and violating those rights is wrong. - Ph34rb0t, on 05/05/2008, -2/+2I'd be more keen on implanting a RFID tag in his brain, exiling him and making it open season year round on exiles within the designated country.
- veloscaper, on 05/05/2008, -1/+6I think the cell they give him will still be nicer than the one he built.
I'm all for the stabbing chair, once the authorities have finished their investigation and the family is ready.
ps. why stabbing? cuz stabbing don't cost a damn thing! - prleet, on 05/05/2008, -2/+0that ass won't be killed...i don't like death sentence but this one case just defys all human emotion on sacred of life.
- Lyph5, on 05/05/2008, -3/+3And the next crime that's not quite this bad, but it is still pretty bad, people will use this case as an example of a reason to use the death penalty there, too. The slope... it's kinda slippery.
- Eskapismus, on 05/05/2008, -0/+5My the first thoughts went to the 6 kids - 2 of em haven't seen daylight in their 18 year life and one of the two is in a very serious condition. Then my second thought went to the mother of the kids that was living there for 23 years being raped by this guy over and over again. It's been more than a week now since I first heard of the tragedy and I have never asked myself what should be done to the perp.
Is it weird of me to not think of this? Or is it you guys that are weird?
Is the punishment to the guy all that matters to you guys?- priegog, on 05/05/2008, -0/+4Na, you're not weird. I have been worriying more about the kids' future too. I don't think most of them will ever be able to live a normal life. Maybe just try to rehabilitate them as much as the psichyatrists can and then give them a piece of land to work on, far away from society, much like they did with the precogs in the Minority Report movie.
- DamnMan, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Angers easier than sadness. its easier to get pissed at the father and think about how exactly you want him killed than to think about what a ***** up legacy he is leaving. None of them is ever going to be "normal" again. And you can't change that.
***** sickening no matter what you choose to think about. His death or their recovery.
- jer2eydevil88, on 05/05/2008, -1/+1Maybe it would be better to lock him in a dungeon/cell where he is continually raped for the rest of his life... Seems to me that this scumbag is a control freak and he will suffer more from losing his freedom than if they took away his life.
- joebrender, on 05/05/2008, -1/+4Even in Texas, they don't execute people for Rape.
- itsthebrod, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2Louisiana might... http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&si ...
- albatross2147, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1Ah yes, Louisiana, The only place where the gaolers are sicker ***** than the gaoled.
- DesertDude, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1Maybe that's why rape is commonplace.
- DesertDude, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1Hah. Reminds me of a comment I posted a few days ago about this same story. Before I post my comment again, you should know that it got buried. Here it is:
[Start of comment]"Now prepare for ten thousand replies of the "I'm against the death penalty except for cases like this" type, which often appear at stories like this. That's what happens when they forget for a moment about the lives of the lovely rapists/murderers/torturers and think about the victims for a change. Everyone's an idealist." [End of comment]
So everyone's an idealist AND they don't like it when people point out their hypocrisy.
- DrunkMc, on 05/05/2008, -8/+23I'll be your backup incase you get sick. We wouldn't want this to be postponed.
- v666, on 05/05/2008, -32/+9such cases make me think europe need death sentence
- rodrigo74, on 05/05/2008, -8/+10Why do you single out Europe specifically? This ***** happens all over the place, unfortunately.
- itsthebrod, on 05/05/2008, -2/+2People lock up their children in basements for 20 years and rape and impregnate them with multiple children all over the place? Because this is the probably the first and most severe case I've heard of...
- DickyT83, on 05/05/2008, -5/+6I agree, some of their punishments are far too minimal. 10 or 15 years prison time this guys looking at? Unbelievable.
- Rotzooi, on 05/05/2008, -1/+3Thankfully, the US system of locking up pot smokers for 30 years is doing great.
- lukak, on 05/05/2008, -2/+48disagreement from me. Lock the ***** up in a 1 x 1 meter cell with one meal per day and no toilet for the rest of his life. Death is too easy.
- Shadow120, on 05/05/2008, -26/+1Australia isn't in Europe
- rompom7, on 05/05/2008, -1/+13Thanks for that tidbit of off topic information. Heres another pointless fact: Josef Fritzl isn't Australian.
- TheHim, on 05/05/2008, -1/+7And Josef isn't in Australia.
- nonymous666, on 05/05/2008, -0/+9oh my.
- mickstephenson, on 05/05/2008, -0/+20Jesus that was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen. You best just make a new account
- Shadow120, on 05/05/2008, -4/+2http://i29.tinypic.com/2nw22ya.jpg
- mickstephenson, on 05/05/2008, -1/+1lol where did you get that?
- Rotzooi, on 05/05/2008, -2/+8I moved here to rid myself of a government that can kill its own people yet won't allow me to end my own life in case of immense and prolonged suffering.
So, no, Europe doesn't need to move back to the dark ages and join some backwards nations and the United States in enforcing the death penalty.
- rodrigo74, on 05/05/2008, -8/+10Why do you single out Europe specifically? This ***** happens all over the place, unfortunately.
- skyfox2k, on 05/05/2008, -8/+10Well, now he's got 15 years of being repeatedly ass-raped with a knife in front of cheering inmates to look forward to.
- veloscaper, on 05/05/2008, -2/+11I don't think even degenerate prison pirates want to plunder him. Most likely he will be gutted at the first opportunity.
- NoCt1, on 05/05/2008, -1/+8True.. I dont know about europe but States side.. People dont take kindly to rapists and child molesters. Here they would probly keep him seperate from general public and hed be in isolation.. Except for those nights where Bubba and Felix visit him.
- mickstephenson, on 05/05/2008, -0/+5In the words of NIko Bellic "That seems to be purely an American phenomenon"
- itsthebrod, on 05/05/2008, -2/+1Too bad. It's a MAJOR deterrent for certain people (myself included) to avoid jail at all costs. If there wasn't the threat of getting ass-raped and AIDS just for going to jail as a comparably small white guy, who knows, perhaps I'd be living a life of crime.
- Yamoth, on 05/05/2008, -1/+3Even prisoners have standard. He wouldn't last a week in the general population if any of the inmate knew what he had done.
- artish, on 05/05/2008, -0/+3Yeah, too bad it's an Austrian Prison and exactly nothing is going to happen to him.
They even wrote in the news, that he's doing fine with his inmates. - IglooBurner, on 05/05/2008, -1/+2according to CNN... he's pleading insanity. If that guy gets send to a ward... I'm gonna lose all respect for the European justice system.
- DesertDude, on 05/06/2008, -1/+1You guys are pathetic. You despise and hate him so you're projecting your punishment wishes to the prisoners. Do you even know anything at all about prisons and what goes on inside of them? Too many movies, I suppose.
- veloscaper, on 05/05/2008, -2/+11I don't think even degenerate prison pirates want to plunder him. Most likely he will be gutted at the first opportunity.
- DracoFlameus, on 05/05/2008, -10/+12Castrate him, execute him... oh c'mon... although it is a cruel crime, but we might deal with him in a more civilzed way... and let him suffer the rest of his life in prison - condemned by the world and especially the Austrian people. That's more effective than to just execute him, because execution would mean an easy way out for him.
- poptartrevival, on 05/05/2008, -2/+33I think when you've leashed your daughter to a toilet for awhile, then raped her in front of your incestuous offspring, you're not too worried about being frowned upon in the presence of your peers.
- DangerMouse9, on 05/05/2008, -3/+2Unless those peers happen to be daughter rapers.
- TheSpook, on 05/05/2008, -0/+3You could still castrate him... Then he'd have to live in prison without balls.
- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Im still an avid proponent of the whole sewing his nuts to his forehead thing - the prison angle is a good one too.
- poptartrevival, on 05/05/2008, -2/+33I think when you've leashed your daughter to a toilet for awhile, then raped her in front of your incestuous offspring, you're not too worried about being frowned upon in the presence of your peers.

Now bury me, cus i'm goin to hell for that...- nickcozy, on 05/05/2008, -4/+2The crime he has done is enough and its proved.

- benjamin7531, on 05/05/2008, -4/+5I am just surprised that nobody found out Elizabeth is missing..... I mean, surely someone would realise something must have happened to her, for her to disappear and never turn up, but leave several babies on the door step.... but such a tragic event though, I would love to help her to live the rest of her life, happy with her child and never remember this incident...
- Shadow120, on 05/05/2008, -19/+2Australia is a big place

- DangerMouse9, on 05/05/2008, -5/+0Wow.... it may be easier for you to get a Russian Bride than this chick. You do realize she probably ever won't put out again, but that's okay because you wouldn't know what to do if she did.
- Eskapismus, on 05/05/2008, -2/+2Austrians are good at ignoring. In fact there is a saying in Austria "I don't even ignore this"
- jacenat, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2double negations are used to emphsize the negation. this makes austrians "ignorer" how exactly?
btw:
the guy forced her to write several letters and later even hired a handwriting expert to have proof that she wrote this ... tell me how many molesters you dugg up in your life. and how many of them forged evidence.
jeez ..

- itsthebrod, on 05/05/2008, -2/+2Congrats, you've reached absolute zero on the scale of funniness. Perhaps you can continue making lame comparisons on two countrys' similar names and comment on how Hitler was from Australia. Isn't that hilarious? Oh wait, no it's not.

- soomprimal, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1To kevlarbaboon: Interesting in that it's titillating and morbid. It feeds the prurient interest when there's truly evil ***** happening to all of us that the media IS censoring.

- Erythroxylum, on 05/05/2008, -15/+6This is Europe (Soviet Union without the gulags and economic decline...yet). Execution of this guy, or hell, even locking him up for more than a few years, would be a gross infringement of his basic human rights to rape, torture and murder.
He'll be out on parole in a couple of years with a fat compensation cheque (for having the temerity to punish somebody for a crime, lenient though the punishment will have been) and a grovelling apology ('I'm sorry sir for imprisoning you. - savantidiot, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1my first thought was along the lines of "hrm, dugg for 'thats a new one' quotient" but then I wondered if maybe this is simply an oldie but a goodie? some sort of wholesome past time towns would gather round for back in the day?
- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1now that is a good one! Still it'd have more effect if his nuts were sewed to his face, i think. And if the whole thing happened in prison.

- th3b3nd3r, on 05/05/2008, -2/+1maybe you noticed that AUSTRIA and AUSTRALIA are not the same. dumbass.
- passedoutghost, on 05/05/2008, -2/+0Coming from an Australian [ignore my profile. Digg wouldn't let me put Australia when I signed up], ***** you. It's been plastered all over the news and you can't get it right.
- Melancholiatic, on 05/05/2008, -1/+2gb2/b/
- itsthebrod, on 05/05/2008, -1/+2The world's least funny joke continues. And from the looks of Shadow's profile, it's the only one the pathetic ***** knows.
- packman86, on 05/05/2008, -4/+1diaf you ***** bastard!!!!
- JimSwarthow, on 05/05/2008, -13/+4that's it, time to nuke Austria.
- albatross2147, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1You mean Australia
- jackieokennedy, on 05/05/2008, -13/+8This is SUCH an important case, and dealing with the guy is our NUMBER ONE priority, we should focus our energy and minds on how much we can torture the guy.
Because dealing with this guy will fix the world. And of course bring happiness and pleasure to his victims.
If he is tortured then his victims will forget about the past.
It's not like people are figthing for bread in Egypt or anything, this case is NUMBER ONE PRIORITY !
/sarcasm
// i know " if it had happened to your daughter, to you, blah blah blah .... "- Eskapismus, on 05/05/2008, -5/+1come on... at least some rednecks in the US would be happy... they are people with feelings too...
- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -1/+1we could staple his nuts to the inside of a freezer and then slam the door shut a few times? In a prison, of course, before we tie both his legs to trees and chop them down.
- akatsuki, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Good for you. Sure it is horrible and gruesome, but frankly they caught him and the attraction on digg just reeks of morbid tabloidism.
- Eskapismus, on 05/05/2008, -5/+1come on... at least some rednecks in the US would be happy... they are people with feelings too...
- teknikk7, on 05/05/2008, -8/+1They should bring in some torture experts and go to town on this guy. The longer they keep him alive the more they should get paid. i.e. blood transfusions, iv etc...
Then plaster it all over the web for our viewing pleasure! I might even rub one out watching!- JMartin13, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2I logged in just to digg you down.
- cramming, on 05/05/2008, -3/+1Alright guys, let's pool together some money. Put some money on the cubbies. Err, wait.
Let's pool together some money and hire Anton Chigurh.- MCMLXXXII, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Call it!
- gryphon50, on 05/05/2008, -0/+0no, Chigurh is too quick. You don't even know what hit you with Chigurh. Maybe that guy from Reservoir Dogs instead.
- stellandfly, on 05/05/2008, -1/+6They should lock that bastard in the basement prison he constructed and forget about him. I can't think of a more fitting punishment. Execution is out of the question. He needs to be made to suffer for the remainder of his pathetic existence.
- jackieokennedy, on 05/05/2008, -1/+4what good will we (as a community, the world) get ouf of that?
Just put in him prison just like the law precises. That's all. And treat him respectfully just like the law precises. There are rules written down to deal with these cases, and we shouldnt drift away from these rules because of one nutcase, because later on, some innocent man will suffer from it.- Hypersapien, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Thank you for saying this. He may be an evil monster, but in punishing him we have to remain civilized. We can not descend into mob rule or else we become monsters as well. Let justice (not vengence) and the rule of law take its course.
- Viriatus2, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2yeah like they did with Countess Bathory
- jackieokennedy, on 05/05/2008, -1/+4what good will we (as a community, the world) get ouf of that?
- webman77, on 05/05/2008, -2/+0More and more cruel details and problems to deliver it to justice:
http://digg.com/world_news/Incest_Drama_in_Austria ...- Eskapismus, on 05/05/2008, -0/+3dude... your Link is in German and full of grammar mistakes. WTF? R U Austrian?
- Rotzooi, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2Australian, probably.
- Eskapismus, on 05/05/2008, -0/+3dude... your Link is in German and full of grammar mistakes. WTF? R U Austrian?
- rmmcclay, on 05/05/2008, -3/+9It's interesting to see so many intent on perpetuation of violence by way of punishment. The man is completely mad and should be imprisoned. You can't reverse what he did by torturing him. People's emotional energies should be directed to helping his family in positive ways.
...a silly perspective on this perhaps...
Retalitative revenge is a bloodsport relished by the masses it seems.- Kythas, on 05/05/2008, -3/+13He's not mad, he's quite sane. I'd say he's evil.
There's a huge difference.- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1not really. Evil is just another word for ***** crazy. Had a girlfreind with BPD once - spent months deciding if she was evil or just crazy. Turns out she actually believed herself to be sane.
- defwheezer, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2"Evil" is a religious explanation of the medical condition called insanity. Vengence is a religious "solution" to the condition of "Evil" (which is actually insanity, and who would argue that insane people should be tortured for their sickness?? ummm- religious types (who believe in "Evil") for starters it seems...)
- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1The Anatomy of Human Destructiveness, Erich Fromm - you sound like you've read it. Nice.
- gryphon50, on 05/05/2008, -0/+0yes, let's assume everyone that commits heinous atrocities is insane and let them off the hook! I feel much better now that I know that no one in their right mind is committing evil acts.
- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1i doubt anyone considered insane is having a good time. Thats why they behave like freakshows in the first place.
- ruyen, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2Sometimes 'eye for an eye' is warranted. When children are abused, sexually or otherwise, I think it's applicable to at least make them go through what they put the children through... if not double.
- defwheezer, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2Unfortunately, when an otherwise decent person kills or harms another person (puts a death row prisoner to death, or beats up/kills an accused rapist, etc.), the decent person MUST them self be affected in a very negative way.
- Kythas, on 05/05/2008, -3/+13He's not mad, he's quite sane. I'd say he's evil.
- Arnos, on 05/05/2008, -10/+3I keep feeling bad about the way things are in America- then I realize we got nuthin compared to you Europeans.
- jackieokennedy, on 05/05/2008, -1/+4Europeans, inhabitants of the country Europe.
- Eskapismus, on 05/05/2008, -0/+3good for you.. now shut up and let the people with experience talk.
- Rotzooi, on 05/05/2008, -1/+2Yeah, because the whole country crashing down is so much better than one psycho rapist?
- jacenat, on 05/05/2008, -2/+4you are right. there are NO abductions in the us AT ALL!
- Vandessa, on 05/05/2008, -1/+4So our church compound of polygamy and pedophilia rates where exactly?
- MicheleFloyd, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2He's so evil that he still hasn't killed himself.
- Rotzooi, on 05/05/2008, -7/+6All those Diggers shouting for torture should be made to watch a real-life torture session.
You wouldn't last ten seconds and be scarred for life.- NecroDigg, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1I watched Saw 3. I think I can handle seeing anything after that.
- bytor4232, on 05/05/2008, -4/+3Too bad this didn't happen in the US, he would definitely not be serving 15 years.
- Rotzooi, on 05/05/2008, -2/+4Yeah, whereas those crazy Europeans just ADORE incestuous pedophile dungeon rapists.
- Shadow120, on 05/05/2008, -1/+6Yeah, he'd be out in 3!
- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2and then back in for 50 for not filing his tax return
- xactor, on 05/05/2008, -1/+0He should get 15 years per count and the Austrian government should pay for the rehab of family. The government should take control of the home in order to destroy it. I know nothing of country but assume it does not want that kind tourist attraction.
- albatross2147, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1This is a good point. At the moment the situation is that Fritzl's properties including the house are all heavily mortgaged. The bank has already moved to foreclose leaving the family without any financial resources.
I hope that all here will donate to a fund to help the victims once this has been properly set up
- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2and then back in for 50 for not filing his tax return

- flashingcurser, on 05/05/2008, -0/+3Wow...
- footodors, on 05/05/2008, -8/+2Austria has a crappy, corrupt, too lenient justice system.
- jacenat, on 05/05/2008, -0/+4wth?
and that is why? - eimersaufen, on 05/05/2008, -0/+8WTF? Can you even find our country on a map without searching in Wikipedia first?
We have a quite good justice system (BTW: no death-penalty), I don't think you can blame "the system" for what happened - this was just one sick *****. So what are we supposed to do? Put a police officer in every house to prevent such terrible things in the future?
Greetings from Austria- albatross2147, on 05/06/2008, -1/+1You mean Australia.
- jacenat, on 05/05/2008, -0/+4wth?
- Cyprus6852, on 05/05/2008, -6/+2He was living the dream...
- J4k3, on 05/05/2008, -0/+3Ironically you may be right. As someone who was sexually abused I can tell you that the more a victim struggles, the more of an adrenaline rush the rapist gets and the harder he'll sodomize you. People like him are mentally ill because they really believe that what they're doing is not wrong at all. Although I was also bound for a few hours, I was never locked up in a basement like that, for so long. It's really awful what his own daughter has gone through.
- NeoTEKK, on 05/06/2008, -0/+2o.0 Whoah buddy. My heart goes out to you. =/

- lgfaphile, on 05/05/2008, -4/+2The Austrian premier is defending Austria from "certain media outlets" making it an Austrian problem. Gee, me thinks the premier protests too much. I wonder who he will claim controls those "certain media outlets". Ah Austria, birthplace of Hitler, but don't blame Austria.
/sarcasm off/- albatross2147, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1Actually AH would have regarded himself more as a Bavarian The town that he was born in was only included in the Austria-Hungary Dual Monarchy some 60 years before his birth.
- artish, on 05/05/2008, -0/+6Everytime I read news from this case, I get a little more depressed....
- invisiblehat, on 05/05/2008, -7/+5This story gets sexier everyday.
- Jan33, on 05/05/2008, -2/+6Okay - the concensus here @ digg seems to be that we put him in jail to be raped, then castrate him, staple the loose nuts to his forehead, tie both his legs to trees, cut them trees down, then sweep all the little bits that are left into a small pile and jump on it while screaming something about technology and human rights.
- invisiblehat, on 05/05/2008, -2/+3Pics or it didn't happen.

- fritzek, on 05/05/2008, -1/+2Yeah. And his kids are carrying his evil genes. Shouldn't they be but in prison too(just in case..)?
- ladyarcher85, on 05/05/2008, -0/+4Death would be too easy on this sorry excuse for a human being. I wish him a very long life spent in a tiny cell with no windows and a tiny door and daily rounds of excruciating torture.
- bx486, on 05/08/2008, -0/+0Living with what he's done i would think would be mental torture enough(provided he is not already insane).Judging from all i've read, what he did took a lot of planning and the fact that he got away with it for so long would indicate careful planning.A twisted mind but far from insane.
- Shadow120, on 05/05/2008, -5/+1http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/free-josef-free-j ...
keep the signatures coming guys.. - ruyen, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1God, what do you do to punish someone when death isn't enough. Castration is a start.
Unless she's so ***** in the head that she couldn't think of something, I'd let his daughter decide his punishment.- bx486, on 05/08/2008, -0/+0At his age, castration won't matter, but if he doesn't get off on an insanity plea and ends up in general population in prison he may just get a taste of his own medicine by having his old ass rogered by other inmates
- Jus7in, on 05/05/2008, -2/+1This is why we have the ***** death penalty, for those are were still wondering.
