- yellowcakewalk, on 05/07/2008, -3/+2You have mistaken him for Paul Wolfowitz, one of the other zionist criminals here in Washington.
- lepster10101, on 05/07/2008, -0/+1My bad, they change jobs that often its hard to keep up. What did he get thrown out of then? The UN possibly?

- Gandalff, on 05/06/2008, -3/+2So lepster the 5 Britons kidnapped and still being held by the same Iranian Quds Force that are trying to be used as trading tools for other training terrorist in Iraq that are Killing American, Britton and other allies are of no consequence to you, just the fact that a particular person or party affiliation made the statement made your mind up. Do you think for yourself? Can others that read this look past names and party affiliation and think of consequences in the region or around the world if Iran makes a power play for Iraq?
Iraq sent a delegation to Iran even to ask them to stop....Hello... this was not just a John Bolton lets have a grenade throwing party. Iran is growing bolder by the Day. He only ask that we close down the training camps training the insurgents thus speeding the end of this insurgency from Iran and helping speed up the end of this war. That I hope we could all agree on would be welcomed. Iran does not want it to end for they know how our political process works and the more casualties they can inflict the more outrage back home things will become and chaos will ensue helping them get a foothold on Iraq.
Try looking past party affiliation and particular names that you feel are after one thing because you might find they are right more times then they wrong.- legenhausen, on 05/07/2008, -2/+1Iran does not want chaos in Iraq, but does want the US out. Iran does not need chaos in Iraq to get a foothold there. It already has more political and economic influence in Iraq than any other country. Threatening to bomb Iranian territory will only add to the price of oil.
- Gandalff, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2You have only proven my statements with your own. The only difference is you appear to concede that Iran already owns Iraq and just needs the US to leave in order to take full control of all of it's resources if I understand you correctly, however that is not what this article explained at all. It told of a number of facts that have been reported numerous of times in the past months which are part of this article:
1: "Colonel Donald Bacon, a spokesman for the coalition in Baghdad, said captured fighters had told interrogators that thousands of Iraqi fighters were undergoing training in the Islamic Republic.
2: "The main camp is located near the town of Jalil Azad, near Tehran, according to coalition officials."
3: "The capture of Qais Khazali, a major figure in the Shia insurgency alongside Ali Mussa Daqduq, a senior Lebanese Hizbollah guerilla, last year yielded a treasure trove of information on Hizbollah’s activities in Iraq."
4: "“Ali Mussa Daqduq confirmed Lebanese Hizbollah were providing training to Iraqi Special Group members in Iran and that his role was to assess the quality of training and make recommendations on how the training could be improved,” said Col Bacon. “In this role, he travelled to Iraq on four occasions and was captured on his fourth trip.”"
5: "Five Britons kidnapped in Iraq are believed to have been put under the control of Quds Force agents after failed attempts to barter the men for Khazali and Daqduq’s freedom."
MOST IMPORTANT HERE PAY ATTENTION LEGENHAUSEN
6: "The importance of the Quds Force to stability in Iraq was demonstrated last week when a five-member Iraqi delegation was sent to Tehran to meet with its commander, General Ghassem Soleimani. The delegation was despatched by the Iraqi government to plead for an end to Iranian meddling in its enfeebled neighbour."
Enfeebled neighbor means they are a weaker country at the present time. Merriam-Webster has it as :deprive of strength so the US leaving at this moment in time would be exactly what Iran wants and is trying to accomplish.
For the Price of Oil and Iran we the US could bring that down if not for the regulations put in place and the lack of refineries due to regulations & threats of lawsuits for environmentalists. Yes I like clean air before you ask, yes I like clean water and yes we have come a long way in how we drill, and the footprint we make when we produce our own oil & gas. Nuclear power needs to be started now as well. Look at France for Goodness sakes. 70% of their power is nuclear, cleaner air because of it too. Now back to Iran and the economic problems they have been having since Ahmadinejad came to Power. The worst part is all the Liberals here think he is a Genius but have no Idea how bad he has made things for his people back home. Try Trading for a living and you will see quickly how Iran's economy has tanked. He is spending it on supporting terrorists factions and supplying them with weapons. Here are comments from his own clerics:
" "We must solve Iran's internal problems as quickly as possible. Time is lacking. A movement has started for us to occupy ourselves with our global responsibilities, which are arriving with great speed."
Two leading clerics retorted that Ahmadinejad would be better off concentrating on Iran's social problems -- most notably its double-digit inflation -- than indulging in such mystical rhetoric.
"If Ahmadinejad wants to say that the hidden imam is supporting the decisions of the government, it is not true," sniped Gholam Reza Mesbahi Moghadam, the spokesman of the conservative Association of Combatant Clerics.
"For sure, the hidden imam does not approve of inflation of 20 percent, the high cost of living and numerous other errors," he said, according to the Kargozaran daily.

- sfwarrior, on 05/07/2008, -1/+2It's about time someone said this. Too bad it wasn't our week kneed Commander in Chief. We don't want to replay the British Chamberlain and "peace in our time".

- legenhausen, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2If Bolton is our best expert, we're in deep trouble.
