- painting, on 02/03/2009, -3/+12no jerkface
- dudestuff, on 02/03/2009, -4/+13given the above comment and your apparent female categorization, i have only one question:
wanna get freaky? - bcamp1973, on 02/03/2009, -3/+12I feel a little dumber after reading these comments...
- DNAspark99, on 02/03/2009, -2/+11I live in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, I don't see any ash, smoke, or soot anywhere??
granted, Tokyo is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiig city, but it's a stretch to say 'Tokyo is covered'! - punkcat, on 02/03/2009, -1/+8some buildings are also made of rubber.
- MercenaryMuffin, on 02/03/2009, -0/+5Are you trying to make a retarded connection or is your literacy ability impaired?
- Syric, on 02/03/2009, -4/+9Honestly there's not much to say besides "oh, kinda sucks". Even the "kinda sucks" is stretching it because nothing really happened.
- dannyboy3020, on 02/03/2009, -3/+8Don't say "FAIL", that meme is overused and on its last legs...and rightfully so.
- yocouchdigga, on 02/03/2009, -3/+7* 're
- Mootabolife, on 02/03/2009, -1/+4Some buildings also have a counterbalancing weight at the top.
- s0nicfreak, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2"No one lives within 4 km (2.5 miles) of the volcano"
- feliks2, on 02/03/2009, -1/+2You're an *****. The last part of your comment puts me in quite a dilemma. I want to burry you for thinking there is only one worthy comment here, but apparently this is what you want.
WHAT DO I DO??? - jclipz, on 02/03/2009, -3/+4Well ***** you
- feliks2, on 02/03/2009, -1/+2...white powder into the air.
- s0nicfreak, on 02/03/2009, -0/+1Haha you said "all comments to come"
- mrbubblesort, on 02/03/2009, -1/+2I live in Meguro as well. Nothing here.
- Namakemono, on 02/03/2009, -0/+1Someone finally got it.
- s0nicfreak, on 02/03/2009, -0/+1Alaska's next did what?
- jmewhite1, on 02/03/2009, -0/+1hahahah thats what i was going for.
- aychseven, on 02/03/2009, -1/+1word. i saw nothing yesterday either. the stupid headlines are so misleading. maybe ash dusted fussa, but not tokyo.
- dudestuff, on 02/03/2009, -5/+5buried for poor audio dubbing. it didn't look like you were saying "GOJIRAAA!!" at all.
- feliks2, on 02/03/2009, -1/+1Maybe because your sky scrapper (or is it Sky Scrapper) scrapped all the sky in the area, you may think you can see a lot, but you really can't see anything at all?
- paulvq, on 02/03/2009, -4/+4Don't let this madman win. Keep him at 0.
- DouglasQ, on 02/03/2009, -2/+2Why were you buried? That was good comment.
- rowbot, on 02/03/2009, -1/+1i lol'd
- Shagmire, on 02/03/2009, -25/+24just bury me
- spiderman222, on 02/03/2009, -5/+4Yeah, we humans must be increasing the temperature of the earth's mantle and core somehow - with our CO2 emissions and all.
- joe8pack, on 02/03/2009, -2/+1I've been to Meguro-ku, perhaps the wind from the bay is protecting you from the ash. The press reports another volcano in Russia has also sent some ash aloft so perhaps they have changed the windflow a bit. Consider yourself lucky, I can go my whole life without ever being in a volcanic ash fall, also probably could go my whole life without a lava flow as well.
How is Mt.Fuji taking the news? - manogamez, on 02/03/2009, -2/+1Oh come on give her a break the comment is not THAT bad...
- yarcod, on 02/03/2009, -2/+0How did this article get so many diggs? It's lame! I totally expected to read that the entire island was threatened or something. But no... just some stupid smoke coming out of the ground. Is Hawaii going to make the front page tomorrow?
- yarcod, on 02/03/2009, -3/+0wtf bury?
- inactive, on 02/03/2009, -5/+2so i assume you guys don't know that Alaska has a volcano that is about to erupt.
- positplus, on 02/03/2009, -6/+2That volcano was not as close to Tokyo as the article makes it out to be. I work on a top floor of a Sky Scrapper in Tokyo, I can see for miles in every direction, and I didn't see a thing.
- vilago, on 02/03/2009, -6/+2vaporized pearl jam
- ValDeV, on 02/03/2009, -9/+4*****, we have to warn the Japanese!
- Namakemono, on 02/03/2009, -8/+3These comments blow.
- sphykik, on 02/03/2009, -6/+1*funny joke*
- paladin170, on 02/03/2009, -6/+1Mount St. Helens in Washington State started out as a minor burp, before it let EVERYTHING spew forth.
- rowbot, on 02/03/2009, -6/+1mount athsa-ma
- inactive, on 02/03/2009, -8/+3Volcano bukkake on Tokyo.
- jmewhite1, on 02/03/2009, -7/+2im going to bury every comment but "All the comments have been buried by the ash."

- DiggMasterJ, on 02/03/2009, -6/+1It's nice to see Ash is finally doing some work.
- Siskoraban, on 02/03/2009, -5/+0Hah, for some reason I read the headline as Mount Asthma.
- tgc1, on 02/03/2009, -8/+2The GTR was just too powerful.
- GeorgeTirebiter, on 02/03/2009, -6/+0Think of the children!
- WibWobble, on 02/03/2009, -13/+6In Soviet Russia, dust erupts volcanos.
- pwdrskier, on 02/03/2009, -13/+6fyi. in japan, to protect against earthquakes, many buildings are built on a sort of ball bearing structure so that in case of a large magnitude earthquake the building will wobble and sway instead of falling down.
