The article mentions the Oslo Accord. I'd be curious to see which parts of the Oslo Accord Israel has complied to. Personally, I don't think it's in Israel's interests to use force. They have an ongoing truce with Hamas. The border points are more or less open (wish we had more confirmation about this). So if the situation is being normalised, why play the bully? I expect the ship to be searched, even though it's not at all clear that Israel actually has jurisdiction over the Gazan coast as it keeps telling us that they withdrew from there. But the ship should by all means get through. It would, after all, show that non-violence can work. Isn't that the message the world wants to get through to Gaza?
