How is a country like Israel, or any country for that matter suppose to "negotiate" with people who don't even care about their own lives, or the lives of their families? For those bashing Israel, please explain to me what your ideal situation would be. On one hand, you want democracy and freedom in the US and throughout the world, but on the other, you hate the only democracy in that area of the Middle-East.

I think that is what makes most diggers mad. Paying to displace Palestinians from their homes. Why can't Israel fund their own religious war? You see more support for peace and not getting involved on digg. As opposed to funding religious groups bent on carrying out the will of the God of Abraham. The state of Israel and its behavior is the stated reason for 911. We are being attacked for our support of Israel. You are welcome to come to America. We can defend you here. As for Israel, I won't throw away my country for the existence of yours. Not that you should worry as almost no one in America knows anything about it. I know BBC is on the outs in Israel and thats why the main news source in Israel is now Al Jazeera, but you'll never see links to that on digg. This is an American site. We haven't figured out where to get unbiased info yet.
Also comparing Israel to a guy throwing a puppy off a roof is dumb. It is never a good excuse to compare your behavior with other bad behavior. It would be better if you could compare Israel with something that is reasonable behavior. Good luck with that.
