- JamesMatt, on 07/20/2008, -1/+9there is no excuse for this, it makes me sick Israeli soldiers are getting away with this kind of behavior, a lieutenant colonel standing by enforcing this.
- Kizilbash, on 07/20/2008, -1/+4Here's another article about it that was posted before: http://digg.com/world_news/Video_of_Israeli_Soldie ...

- ArenaRon, on 07/21/2008, -6/+1How many of you actually read the article, or a you just commenting based on the title and description? I understand that there is no excuse for this kind of action, and I hope the soldier sits in the brig for a very long time, BUT...He gave the guy a boo boo toe with a rubber bullet fired from a low velocity riot gun. It was foolish scare tactic, agreed, but does it deserve to be on the front page of Digg, CNN, Yahoo etc? A TOE!!
Search Youtube and you will see many similar actions of people scaring others with low velocity paintball guns, air soft guns, etc. I don't see those making it to the front page of Digg, or CNN, or Yahoo, but a Jew scaring an Arab of course has to make it to the front page. Again people, let's please keep things in perspective, before WWIII breaks out. - 7Mystery, on 07/21/2008, -0/+2This is nothing compare to the daily Israeli atrocities.
- evask, on 07/21/2008, -0/+2This has been repeatedly submitted and all the stories get systematically buried.
According to Jerusalem Post, the soldier got scott free until BTselem released the video and media picked it up. Only then senior military commander ordered an investigation - presumably to punish the soldier for getting caught by the camera...........
