Israel releases terrorist ... terrorist threatens U.S.
worldnetdaily.com — In Lebanon, Kuntar now chairs the Lebanese Committee for Solidarity with Cuba. These people put this guy in charge of a committee? This guy killed four Israeli police officers, three Israeli's and smashed to death a 4-year-old girl with the butt of his rifle. If I decide to kill innocent people, maybe they will elect me to parliament.

- RNBob, on 09/14/2008, -0/+5Between the U.S. Government promising the Palestinians Israeli land and the Israeli Government releasing known terrorist from prisons, that threaten the U.S., the relationship between the two countries is going downhill. These two countries are suppose to help each other, not do things to hurt each other. It's time to quit appeasing the Muslims.
- Brumbar, on 09/14/2008, -0/+3In regards to Mr. Kuntar who appears to be a Communist in his ideologies as well as his affiliation with Hezboallah, and other groups. The British had a military rule, back when, Rule .303, at times applied at greater distances. Perhaps he could be enlightened with the current Rule .50 BMG.
- Savage24, on 09/14/2008, -0/+5Has anybody explained to the State Dept. that we are at war with the terrorist? The State Dept. keeps pushing Israel to compromise with the Hezbollah an other terrorist groups. It is not a good idea to take advice from your enemies. In this case it is a terrible idea to take advice from the terrorist and the State Dept. This guy should have been exterminated years ago. Well keep turning the other cheek, eventually they will knock your head off.
- gunjam, on 09/14/2008, -0/+3Good point. The State Department needs to start registering as a lobbyist for a foreign agent -- so hostile are they to both Israel's best interests and our own.
- gunjam, on 09/14/2008, -0/+2This guy is the living personification of the term, "CREEPAZOID!"
- Overseer5, on 09/14/2008, -0/+4Hey Obama, still think it's possible to appease these guys through diplomacy? Still think the most important thing you can do when you confront them is to read them their rights?
- downs1, on 09/14/2008, -0/+2Some decisions just keep coming back to bite you. The United States made a huge mistake in urging Israel to compromise with Hezbollah by releasing the four terrorists in exchange for the remains of the two Israeli soldiers. In time, the Israelis would have retrieved the remains of these two as well as the remains of another Air Force pilot whose plane was shot down. How they achieve that is their business. But, Bush needs a legacy! Condoleeza Rice put the pressure on Israel to release the terrorists as a gesture of "good will," without the slightest understanding of the possible consequences. That is unmitigated arrogance, and unfortunately we will pay for our foolishness.
The United States needs to realize that if Israel is threatened, she will eventually go after militarily whoever is posing the danger with or without the United States. The Mossad is the greatest intelligence agency in the world. It makes the CIA, FBI, and NSA with all the other agencies look like amateurs. Israel will know the exact time to move. While she desires our support, she is not afraid to move alone if need be. Israel was created by God and He is still in control whether or not we like it. Israel, as secular as she is now, is not afraid to defend her sovereignty in spite of Bush's desired legacy for peace before he leaves office. Israel's security and survival out weight any other considerations.
The terrorist, Mr, Kuntar, is already a dead man whether or not he knows it. So are the other three who were part of the exchange. None of them had, has, or ever will have "good will" toward Israel, and they will do all in their power to destroy her. That simply won't happen! Condoleeza Rice signed their death warrant when she pressured Israel to release them.
