Israel approves release of Palestinian prisoners
cnn.com — Israel's Cabinet voted Sunday to release nearly 200 Palestinian prisoners as a goodwill gesture to the Palestinian Authority, an Israeli government source told CNN. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert discussed the release of prisoners with Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas.
