Iraqis PO'd. Less than 2 hrs Electricity/day. 2 Much Greed!

alternativeenergy.com — NY Times editorial reports that Iraqis are seething because they have less than 2 hours of electricity a day. What makes it worse is that the Iraqi government is greedily selling oil at more than $100 rather than using it to produce electricity. Wouldn't it be better to placate Iraqis with electricity than to spend so much on military?

  • yellowcakewalk, on 03/12/2008, -2/+2Utter destruction of the culture, history, population, and society of Iraq was one of the major goals of the war. It builds on the success of Clinton's genocidal sanctions against the population of that hapless country. Once depopulated and razed to the ground, the empire has an easier time administering its colony.
