Just because pacifist want to blame everything on Israel doesn't make it true. Did Israel kick the Arabs butt like in 67? No. Did they bring the whole conflict area to a stand still? Yes. Remember since Israel wants peace a public draw makes sense. It let the Arabs not feel humiliated like they have in the past. So a Victory for the Arabs does not mean it was a failure for Jews.

It isn't propaganda to report what high ranking state officials say, its actually the simplest form of journalism (no need for discussion or fact-checking).
  
  If these users would wish war, they wouldn't spread it - they would wait until Iran attacks. Hopefully the world will be smart enough to prevent Iran from being able to fulfill their warnings, or the Iranian people will retake their country from this aggressive dangerously zealot occupying regime.

cashman57, on 02/22/2008, -0/+18I have to laugh. We have heard these wild proclamations from the little man before and it is usually in response to unrest among his people. Israel is the boogeyman that the Iranian prez pulls out now and then the same way oslimy bin loser is the boogeyman our government pulls out.
The fact is Iran is near a tipping point. The "revolution" promised a better life for everyone, but when it came time to deliver we see that their currency is becoming worth less, they have double digit inflation and unemployment. They also have gas rationing which is still quite unpopular.
Add to that the fact that their best troops keep getting their asses kicked by a ragtag bunch of Kurds and you see why he wants to say something to get the people behind him

Then they ration what petrol they have to the public while funding their nuclear program (why they don't just spend on refining their refining capability is a mystery). So yeah, as previous poster mentioned, bring out the bogeymen!

As other economies follow, oil will drop in price and the incomes of Iran and the Arab world will fall. Domestic crisis will trump anti-Israeli sentiment. Islam will abandon the futility and economic inability of a mullah controlled society.
