Iran's Blood-Drenched Mullahs
covertress.blogspot.com — Last Tuesday, Iran hanged another teenager, 19-year-old Hamid Reza, who was convicted of murder. The country's parliament is also considering a bill that could result in the death penalty being used for those deemed to be promoting corruption, prostitution and apostasy on the Internet.

The United States is concerned by reports that Iranian authorities have stepped up their repression of student activists in the wake of the ninth anniversary of the July 9, 1999 student uprising. Two prominent student activists, Mohammad Hashemi and Bahareh Hedayet, were arrested on July 13, the latest in a series of arrests of members of the Office for Consolidating Unity.

It's a damn shame seeing a decent country ruined by bigoted, egotistical assholes who trample on human rights and common decency. But enough about America; the current Iranian ruling cabal sucks too.
Civilisation = those countries with nuclear submarines, a free press, clean elections and no death penalty. That'd be France and the UK then.
