Iran rejects French warning it risks Israeli strike
rawstory.com — Iran dismissed on Saturday a warning by France's president that the Islamic Republic was taking a dangerous gamble over its nuclear program because one day its arch-foe Israel could strike.

- treelovinhippie, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1I've been predicting for a while now that this is how it will go down... i.e. Israel attacks 'terrorist" sites in Iran, naturally Iran has to strike back, then the US will step-in since they're pretty much bed buddies with Israel. dot, dot, dot, one *****-up war over nothing.
The guess is an attack will be made on one of the Fridays during September and October, just in time for the elections. McCain will pounce on the war and push the terrorism fear again, then using his military experience he'll push that leadership quality for political advantage. And considering Obama is a very close bed-buddy with the Israel lobby, he will have to condemn the Iran retaliation and support an invasion of Iran (which will lose him a lot of votes).
McBush wins. More unnecessary, crafted wars fueled by natural resource desires. More human rights and privacy stripped. More hatred towards the US.
