- Soughtout, on 06/25/2009, -0/+31Kudos, Nico for your superb coverage of Iran's unfolding crisis. I have followed your blog on this issue since the story first broke. Your work has helped to inform and update untold numbers of people in America and around the world.
Thank you. - try2bcre8v, on 06/25/2009, -0/+22I've been addicted to his live blog since the uprising began. I get more news and insight from him and the HuffPo than any other news organization.
- chickenloco, on 06/25/2009, -1/+17It's difficult for me to say this about the HuffPo in general - but for their coverage of the Iranian protests, their reporting has been phenomenal. It easily beats the reporting from any large news organization.
- FlirtyGirl, on 06/25/2009, -0/+11Nico and his team are providing the most up to date information available. Thanks!
- golewsco, on 06/25/2009, -0/+10Thanks. Great work!
- lrthomp, on 06/25/2009, -0/+10This coverage is revolutionary; it's all the more involving because ordinary people witness and report. The truth refuses to die in this war.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -0/+8Dugg for real journalism.
- nobama7, on 06/25/2009, -1/+7Great job Nico on Iran's coverage, i have been following your blog since the election days.
- Maddoktor2, on 06/25/2009, -0/+6Best.
Coverage.
Ever. - BeardandBones, on 06/25/2009, -0/+5Nico is my hero.
- Shuk, on 06/25/2009, -0/+5Check out the video near the bottom with Reza Aslan on the Daily Show. A poignant and insightful discussion on the situation, the attitudes of the people, and the role of the United States in this revolution. It may be a comedy show, but the discussion is far more interesting than most analysis on major news networks.
Also kudos to Nico Pitney's coverage. Very informative and up to date. He has elevated the role of the internet above traditional reporting in the Iranian situation. - citizenhelder, on 06/25/2009, -0/+4This is just like that time when W. was being repressed by all those votes for other people and FOX News came out and said, W & the Dick won!
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -1/+5About time we got some real news around here.
- fury420, on 06/25/2009, -1/+4People with AKs & live ammo on rooftops are firing into crowds of thousands of rock-throwers. If the Iranian protesters were in the streets with lots of guns there would have been thousands upon thousands of casualties by now, and odds are the military would be involved.
- Merp08, on 06/26/2009, -0/+3Good to see someone is still covering this. On TV all they are showing is Michael Jackson. The MSM is so done.
- nikkigil, on 06/25/2009, -0/+3FB Page for Nico:

- Loki101, on 06/26/2009, -0/+3Go push your agenda elsewhere, NRA scum.
- CSheikh, on 06/25/2009, -0/+3So you mean the rumor you are spreading about them spreading rumors? Perhaps if you read the blog you might have an idea about what it says (and maybe you would learn something about Iran as well)... but too bad you are just a dumbass.
- CSheikh, on 06/25/2009, -0/+3You obviously don't know ***** about Iran.
- citizenhelder, on 06/25/2009, -0/+3Idiot. Buried.

Yeah. A pocket. - GodAImighty, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1NYT's Lede blog has been fantastic as well.
http://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/ - sporktek, on 06/25/2009, -3/+3This is just like that time when the house Republicans were being oppressed by the Democrats.
- CaptainRant, on 06/25/2009, -8/+3The Iranian protesters need guns...lots of guns. Too bad they're outlawed in Iran.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -7/+1Is digg saving Iran yet again?
Seriously, the uprising has been crushed, it sucks but that is the way it is. There is now only pockets of protesters. - inactive, on 06/25/2009, -8/+1By phenomenal you mean posting every rumor and hearsay when it comes out instead of waiting to verify the facts?

What is Digg?
