Iran Invites Bush to Speak at University
columbian.com — Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad invited President Bush to speak at an Iranian university if the American leader ever traveled to the Islamic Republic, state-run television reported Friday.

- ruz322, on 10/10/2007, -135/+28Ahmadinejad was just laughed at in America and rightly so in my opinion. Someone in Iran would try and do something crazy if Bush went over there though. Don't think that would be the safest thing to do.
- Albionshores, on 10/10/2007, -15/+73And that's based on.....conjecture and tittle-tattle.
Meanwhile back in Iran Ahmadinejad has received some much needed praise for his willingness to go to America. We all know why it wouldn't be reccommendable for Bush to return the courtesy. Whilst I am not particularly an Ahmadinejad fan one must admit that he can hold himself in an interview, even when he doesn't know what questions will pop up. Bush can't do that even when he has an idea of what is going to be asked.
Frankly, Bush speaking in public has become a liabilty for the Administration.- GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -13/+4What? The Iranians hate how Ahmadinejad focuses more on being an incendiary figure towards the West than focusing on issues in Iran.
- pintomp3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19most iranians hate that, but he has a loyal conservative base that he is pandering to. sounds familiar, doesn't it?
- GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -13/+1Do you have any proof of that? I've got Iranian friends and blog postings from anonymous Iranians on the internet to back up my assertion, but I've not yet heard that side of things -- except coming from Americans discontent with Bush. Could you back that up?
- Albionshores, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19Of course he has proof numbnuts- the middle eastern media. You don't need anonymous blogs or furtive back alley friends. You can just read an English speaking Iranian/Middle Eastern news report. Of course that means venturing away from Fox for a bit - sure you have the constitution for it?
But fear not Don Quixote you needn't venture as far as you might think....

http://uk.reuters.com/article/reutersEdge/idUKNOA6 ... - GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -10/+2I don't watch FOX. I told you where my sources came from -- friends of mine who've lived in Iran, and testimony coming from Iranians.
Anyway, the first line of your article showed that it's not "back alley friends" of mine that have these opinions -- "His speeches cause outrage in the West and critics at home say his economic policies are failing,"
Right there. "CRITICS AT HOME" comment on his economic policies -- sounds like that's the educated class talking. According to your article, the people who support him are expecting handouts. Nice job on that rebuttal, dude. - jsrothwell, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Okay let me get this straight, you're sources are your friends and anonymous blog posts and you expect me, a perfect stranger to accept that your beliefs trump another person's who has given sources that I can verify myself? Wow GawtMilk, I wouldnt ever recommend taking that stance as a defense in a court. Unless you like jumpsuits.
- GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2They're called "primary sources", but whatever biased, mashed-up articles on InfoWars you want to believe are somehow alright? I made sure to note "anonymous" because there are many Iranian bloggers who've been threatened to the point that they've shut down their blogs.
If I was the defendant in court, I'd probably cite eye witnesses rather than biased articles. - boombye, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1They're digging you down because you're Iranian and they rather your sources be middle eastern propaganda than real life Iranians.
- Albionshores, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5'They' are digging you down because it is "conjecture and tittle-tattle".
Nobody said the Iranian view was polarised but let's face it Ahmadinejad is doing it for a reason. Part of that reason is because unlike Bush Ahmadinejad didn't become president because of family history, familiy wealth, family connections and a network of people to put him there because of their own agenda.
Ahmadinejad is doing it because he worked himself up through the Iranian Republican Guard and he realises that going over to America and not letting himself look intimidated will make him promote him in the eyes of those who are fed up with America sanctioning them and invading their neighbours which they see as a threat.
Lo and behold, he has reaped what he intended to sow. Nationalists in regional countries are supporting him for daring to present himself on American turf. Credit where credit is due - at least he's not letting himself be intimidated. How many European/Middle Eastern leaders can say that?
- boombye, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Also in court you depend on witness testimonials, not citing news sources gawt. wtf r u smoking today?
- pintomp3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19most iranians hate that, but he has a loyal conservative base that he is pandering to. sounds familiar, doesn't it?
- m0j0j0j0, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7It is a sad situation when George Bush makes someone like Ahmedinejad look good. As evil as the Iranian leader is, he is 10 times the leader the Dubya could ever dream of being. Get Dubya out now.
- GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -13/+4What? The Iranians hate how Ahmadinejad focuses more on being an incendiary figure towards the West than focusing on issues in Iran.
- maverex, on 10/10/2007, -15/+44Ahmadinejad is a decent guy. Even though he doesn't like gays, he still is more intelligent than Bush. Let alone all this talk of war and he has the balls to come to a University in the US and answer questions, and give somewhat partially open minded American students a basic grasp of Iranian society, even on the brink of war.
On another note, Bush should goto Iran. I hope they do something to him =D- byt123, on 10/10/2007, -13/+11If it wasn't for your last sentence I'd digg you up.
I'm anti bush but I don't condone having "something done to him" as any sort of solution.- iticu, on 10/10/2007, -6/+19Not solution, but he has it coming.
- GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+25There are two things I fear of Bush's visit to Iran:
1) Making a fool of himself.
2) Getting assassinated, causing Cheney to take power and ignite the powderkeg. - LadyKofNYC, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Then perhaps Cheney should go with him
- GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+25There are two things I fear of Bush's visit to Iran:
- pintomp3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7maybe he meant throw flowers at his feet. the iraqis didn't, maybe the iranians will.
- sallos, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8And then Iran would have it coming much worse if Bush died over there and it would be bad for the world imo. Think it through....
- Murdats, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7well he is never getting is war crimes hearing, and it would be some sort of justice for the countless lives he has sacrificed on their behalf.
- iticu, on 10/10/2007, -6/+19Not solution, but he has it coming.
- thatsmyaibo, on 10/10/2007, -11/+6A decent guy? You know why there are no homosexuals in Iran...Because they are executed (if my word isn't enough you can find videos on youtube)! My father is from Iran and he thinks this guy is an embarrassment.
- NoStoppingUs, on 10/10/2007, -6/+6yeah, i was about to say..he doesnt just 'not like them', he murders them. anyone who reads the news from other sources than the dailykos understand this guy is despised in his own country.
- boombye, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Pro-Western media is still what it is.
- byt123, on 10/10/2007, -13/+11If it wasn't for your last sentence I'd digg you up.
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12A likely excuse, and one that Bush will no doubt use to avoid having to actually be a leader. He will cower and let his minions do his dirty work, just as he always has, just as he always will.
- captric, on 10/10/2007, -6/+0Why would Busch go visit a petty 3rd world Doctor who kills his political opponents, gays, and anyone else who does not keep in his step with Islamic Shia Law? Besides Achmedenjad was in the US ONLY because the UN is based there.
- boombye, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Because that's the job of a leader. To meet with other leaders and try to find peaceful solutions in dealing with each other. Unless of course you love NASCAR and American Gladiator reruns, then I can see how you might want more conflict.
- RetardoCrisp, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Petty? 3rd world? LOL They are now called "Lesser Developed" but if they have a nuclear program etc, I would not be calling them neither. I have lived throughout the Middle East and they are every bit as developed as the US. They just are not docile consumerist whores over there like here in North America. Keep buying your happiness and don't question authority. That is our western duty, glad to see you buy the propaganda and are doing yours!
Bush or how you mis-spelled your own presidents name "Busch" is a evangelical bible thumping nut job who believes god actually talks with him, he has even said it! Anyone else would be thrown into a psychiatric ward long ago for saying such things.
- deadmann, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Ahmadinejad has offered to debate Bush before. He won't do it because he can't. Are the people who support Ahmadinejad going to lift a finger in support or sit back while he is bombed in your name?
- Qtip42, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14Safety schmaftey.... Please let him go to Iran..........I'd love to see A.) what someone might do or B.) what kind of fool they'd make him look like in a non-staged interview.
Bush is a moron of the highest caliber. Ahmadinejad at least came over and made an attempt. Of course we won't all understand where he's coming from and neither would all of Iran if Bush went over there. Bush would embarrass this country even more than he already has.- bronyraurstomp, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I must agree and, by the way, it's Prof. Ahmadinejad, not mr.

- zomgfast, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Bush will land on an aircraft carrier just outside of Iran. This time, with a more accurate banner that reads '8 more years.'
- indicas, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1Because all Iranians are blood thirsty animals..
- Rukaribe, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Irans do learn!!!
- Albionshores, on 10/10/2007, -15/+73And that's based on.....conjecture and tittle-tattle.
- jumbalia, on 10/10/2007, -37/+19This comment doesn't directly relate to this story but,
about this whole issue with the "there are no gays in Iran" from Ahmadinejad: I'm sure as a Christian Bush believes that homosexuality is something that is "curable" with programs such as the ex-gay movement. Isn't believing something to be curable the same as saying it doesn't exist. Or at least that it's possible for it not to exist? Ahmadinejad may be living in a dream world if he truly thinks there are no gays in Iran, but it's a dream world many Americans not only want to be living in, but truly believe it possible.- jumbalia, on 10/10/2007, -11/+23and just to add: sure it's disgusting that Iran has been said to have executed 4000 homosexuals since the Islamic government took over. But with over 700,000 dead Iraqi civilians and a conservative estimate of 5% of a population being homosexual; that's 35,000 homosexuals killed by American soldiers... Just something to think about
- zerhynn, on 10/10/2007, -14/+3As soon as we finish doing the research, we'll have that chemical imbalance fixed via Science and all you gays will realize that you were just standing up for something that shouldn't be happening.
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Your intolerance for others is disgusting. The sexual preferences of other males is not your concern. With that said, all states of the mind are chemicals. Your state of mind is just as much a chemical imbalance as any other "condition", or any "chemical imbalance" that any gay may be having.
- gettophilosophr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5...was it just me, or did it sound like he was using satire to mock those who believe homosexuality can be cured, not actually saying "we'll cure it someday!"?
*shrugs* Maybe I'm wrong. - AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I was being completely serious in my statements.
- gettophilosophr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5...was it just me, or did it sound like he was using satire to mock those who believe homosexuality can be cured, not actually saying "we'll cure it someday!"?

- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3I would be very interested in hearing your views on the other things Ahmadinejad said in his visit and interview, jumbalia.
- Wolverine82, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1thank you.
- ciaran036, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3He probably was unsure what to say when he was asked that question, and the death penalty for gays probably has little to do with him. If he were to suddenly abolish the death penalty, then there would be uproar in the country.
- jumbalia, on 10/10/2007, -11/+23and just to add: sure it's disgusting that Iran has been said to have executed 4000 homosexuals since the Islamic government took over. - tehbored, on 10/10/2007, -28/+359Too bad Bush is too much of a pussy to accept this invitation.
Also, I love how everyone was so pissed because Ahmedinejad has financial ties with terrorist organizations, because America has sponsored (and actively engaged in) far more terrorism than Iran.- bluescreentech, on 10/10/2007, -23/+11Somehow I don't think it matters if Bush is a pussy or not... The secret service will never allow him to go to Iran... there is no possible way he will be allowed to go. It doesn't matter what he wants to do.
- hraza84, on 10/10/2007, -4/+34Who is the president, teh secret service has no authority to deny his order, if he wants to go (not like he has the balls) then they can only make sure he is protected. if he can go to iraq then iran is much safer. unlike how americans treat a guest and president of a foreign country in iran he wouldn't be insulted in public. that itself speaks volumes to the culture of iranians
- euphemizeme, on 10/10/2007, -4/+5"unlike how americans treat a guest and president of a foreign country in iran he wouldn't be insulted in public. that itself speaks volumes to the culture of iranians"
Yeah, no free speech. Awesome culture. Rather than say it "speaks volumes" I think you mean to say it ****** *******.- offwithyourtv, on 10/16/2007, -1/+4He means to say it makes lines with asterisks?
- euphemizeme, on 10/10/2007, -4/+5"unlike how americans treat a guest and president of a foreign country in iran he wouldn't be insulted in public. that itself speaks volumes to the culture of iranians"
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16The president can do whatever he wants to do. The people elect the president, not the secret service. The secret service are under orders from the president. If the president doesn't go to Iran, that is only because of his cowardise and would be an admission that he has no confidence in the secret service to protect him. He has nothing to hide behind but his own cowardise, and I assure you he will.
- HUKI365, on 10/10/2007, -7/+4Yeah but I'll bet you'd be the first person to complain about the multi-billion dollar bill the security would end up as.
- euphemizeme, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Why is HUKI365 being dugg down? You know that's exactly what would happen.
- boombye, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Bush will actually receive little praise for going, but would get booed by us for the crap he eventually ends up saying as usual. So it's not exactly what would happen.
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Yes, I would. Because that would be a completely ineffecient use of money. It does not take billions of dollars to protect one man. Anyone who thinks so is a fool.
- euphemizeme, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2I'm sorry, are you in the security business? If it takes 200 million to chauffeur and protect him in Australia then I shudder to think what it would cost in Iran. When you're one of the most hated people in the world in one of the countries that hates you the most, you need thousands of *paid* professionals protecting you, as well as huge amounts of logistical support. Plus, in addition to your plane, you need to shuttle around those thousands of highly-paid (read: possibly underpaid) professionals.
It easily balloons up to several hundred million dollars. Billions, probably not, but definitely a huge ticket that you would bitch about regardless of the real costs associated with it. - boombye, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's easy to buy off one of thousands. That's why you gotta keep it small.

- IbnDigg, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13Bush is too much of a pussy to go, he was too much of a pussy to sit there and listen to Mr A's talk at the UN, but i tell you what, if he did go, the Iranians would treat him more hospitably than Bolinger did.

- rfliss, on 10/10/2007, -10/+2President Bush doesn't speak Farsi, but I'm sure that's not the reason he doesn't want to go. I mean, knowing the native language only kind of helps getting your message across. People aren't just pissed at him because of his terrorist ties, but also because of his ruthless killing of homosexuals and his hostile feelings toward Israel.
- LowRentDiggs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2He doesn't know English all that well either.
- EarlOfLade, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Not to mention the Bush famiiyi's long and outstanding tradition of supporting financially various terrorists and dictators. The Bush family has so much blood on it's hands going back a century, that it's unbelievable how anyone can support these criminals.
And USA as a country has a long and outstanding tradition of supporting terrorists and dictators all over the world, it's about time to stop this madness, USA. Start to care about your own people rather than about foreign dictators. - mattyg333, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Ah, Ah, Ah! It's only terrorism if they do it.

- Identity4, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Wait! Comedy? Bush? Did somebody say: THATS MY BUSH!!! *sings* He's the resident president, the man in charge.....etc. I miss that show. :(
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yeah, that show was funny in a sad way. From what I could tell they bought out the guy who played Bush. He was at some kind of speech with the president once, if I remember correctly.

- bilgates, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5lol. let the insults begin. I really want the iran's univ. president to insult bush. This will never happen though.
- FreakyD, on 10/10/2007, -14/+88Now why would he go there when the bombs are about to drop?
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I think the administration is shifting attention to Myanamar because they know that war with Iran is not looking good for them. It's much much easier to wage war on Myanamar, which is in chaos. Myanamar, by the way, has vast oil riches and is one of the largest producers of illegal drugs in the world. They also have vast mineral wealth. A war with them would be easy to start, and would be very profitable.
- counterplex, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Hmmm is there any confirmation of these vast oil riches? If true, I wouldn't be surprised if Myanmar were attacked but keep in mind we need at least a few months to get the vitriol production up to speed. Iran's already well on the way to a ramp-up to full declaration of war status. Decisions, decisions!

Yes joking about not having homosexuals (because you execute them) and claiming the holocaust needs to be re-investigated went over very well, didn't portray him as a religion whack job at all. - bluescreentech, on 10/10/2007, -8/+4You're an idiot. Ahmadinejad's speech was nothing short of Iranian propaganda. He lied more than Bush has ever lied, he also skirted around all the questions that he was asked and ended up asking more questions in response instead of answering those questions.
- rootstyle, on 10/10/2007, -8/+3"Ahmadinejad wasnt laughed it he actually did a very good speech"
- EntropyMan, on 10/10/2007, -8/+54I think Amadinejad's suggestion is brilliant. "Bush Bombs Iran" should refer to the speech, not the munitions.
But Amadinejad should go one further: promise to get rid of all of Iran's nuclear materials if Bush will give this speech and successfully pronounce 'nuclear' at least once during that time.- hraza84, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14that would be one hell of a safe bet, for iran that it is.
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Amadinejad essentially said that Iran would be willing to give up all nuclear weapons if the US would as well. He might have literally said that, I'm not sure.

...is it just me, or does this sound like a rather ***** bet?
(and does anyone have an actual number for the American nuclear deterrent?)- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The only reason for our nuclear arsenal is to deter other nuclear armed nations from attacking us. If the entire world had no nuclear weapons, there would be no need for any country to have them. I agree that all countries must eliminate their weapons at once. I also propose that all countries should be allowed to have 3 nuclear warheads, as a temporary compromise. America currently possesses approximately 2,000 nuclear warheads.

- sabach, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I like the Dune solution to nuclear weapons, any use of them against humans results in all nuclear-armed societies joining together to wipe the offender from existence. Talk about a deterrent.

Stupid dumb ***** just making up *****.- Identity4, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13ok, I admit neither President has very a very good sense of morals, but what it looks like to me is that the LAST thing Ahmadinejad wants is to engage in war with the US. And please, I understand and respect YOUR opinion, but please dont refer to me as a dumb *****. The immaturity of your petty name calling hurts your argument.- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Ahmadinejad is not a stupid man. He knows that while his country has a respectable military, Iran has no chance of winning a protracted war with the US and it's mostly unwilling "allies". The US military is a business, pure and simple. It's CEOs reside in our government. They are bribed by arms makers for their efforts in spreading wars around the world.
- quaxon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7ahmadinejad isnt responsible, the fundamentalists in Iran are. dont forget that half a century ago we lynched/killed blacks by the thousands. maybe if we didnt ***** iran up so bad through our staged coup they wouldnt be ran by radical muslims today?
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I know little about Ahmadinejad's status on gays, nor am I very concerned with the matter. I am also not in the least bit concerned what name calling goes on. However, I am very, very concerned with the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people that the Bush family is directly responsible for. It is the duty of the American people to hold them responsible for the genocides they have commited.
We have no responsibility, other than as humans, to hold any other person outside our borders responsible for anything, however much we may want to. We are justified only in maintaining ourselves, our country, and it's government. I ask all Americans who read my words to consider this every day of their lives. - EarlOfLade, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5And Bush was responsible for numerous executions in Texas and has done nothing to abolish the death penalty as president. - DiggzDE, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21I don't get it. Why the hell are people being so unbelievably hateful toward this guy. I understand that certain things that occur in his country may be considered terrible and inhumane, but you must consider that they have a completely different type of law and government over there. This guy is trying very hard to keep diplomacy between countries and is trying to show that he would like to work with them rather than fight with them. Yet everyone is so blindly upset about things almost unrelated to current topics at hand that they can't even see it. Instead, they go grab their torches and pitchforks and start screaming for murder of the monster. Lets take the opportunity to talk and use it, not shut him out and shut him up. Why oh why are people so damn stupid?!!!

- EarlOfLade, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You asked: "Why oh why are people so damn stupid"
Answer: Because they are Americans and Americans feel above everything and everyone else and that they can do no wrong and that it's their right to invade and occupy whatever country it suites them to occupy.
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Yes, not that it's very hard to do that, of course.

It's a very sad reality, and I don't like to admit it myself. However, if generals prove themselves to not be valuable, then they are supposed to lose rank. That, unfortunately, very rarely happends.

I think the administration is shifting attention to Myanamar because they know that war with Iran is not looking good for them. It's much much easier to wage war on Myanamar, which is in chaos. Myanamar, by the way, has vast oil riches and is one of the largest producers of illegal drugs in the world. They also have vast mineral wealth. A war with them would be easy to start, and would be very profitable.- thailand1972, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It's not like there's been monks protesting in Burma every single day for the last 20 years and now the western media decides to focus on Burma (or Myanamar if you insist) - the large-scale protests started just last week.
- ccrt6y, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1it is Myanmar the official name. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myanmar
- WikiEasy, on 10/10/2007, -8/+5That would be quite a suicide mission. Ahmadinejad can speak in the U.S.A., even against what the government likes. However that's the beauty of a free country. If Bush talks in Iran he will probably get murdered.
- ciaran036, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3how would he?
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Possible, yes, but that would be a risk he would have to take. To not visit Iran would be cowardly, and an admission that he has no trust in his secret service to protect him. Ahmadinejad was very willing to visit our country at great personal risk to himself. Is Bush willing to take the same risk?
- jooboy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0How free is this country? We would not even allow him to see ground zero.
- guzikov, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Freedom costs a buck 0 five.
- jooboy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0How free is this country? We would not even allow him to see ground zero.
- shupy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Well he wouldn't do so well here if he didn't have an army of secret service guys. Bush is hardly a well-loved or respected leader.
- fxu1989, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Definitely hilarious to see.
But it's obvious he's gonna deny. - TheMatrix31, on 10/10/2007, -10/+0If you guys have such a hard-on for the freakin' guy, why not just move to Iran and save all of us the trouble of listening to your incessant bitching, moaning and "funny comments".
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I do not have a "hard-on" for Ahmadinejad. I also believe your disrespect for our country is distasteful. I refuse to move, and I will continue voicing my opinions on every matter that I see fit. Anyone who has a problem with that, can take it up with me personally.
- MonkeyHugger, on 10/10/2007, -0/+23Bush won't do this for one simple reason. He is an awful public speaker. He couldn't stand one question on the spot nevermind hundreds of them.
If he accepts I will eat my own shoes and put it on youtube. - ciaran036, on 10/10/2007, -3/+15If he does not accept, George Bush will officially be number #1 ***** president
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9He already is.
- quaxon, on 10/10/2007, -2/+28has bush even spoken at an american university without a pre-screened crowd, allowed to ask questions that arent obvious fluff and slanted *****? in other words has bush ever been confronted with a tough question since his presidency started?
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1A few, but not very god damned many.
- pukufek, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I believe he has, sometimes people slip through the net and ask an "outrageous" question. What usually follows is 2 minutes of George Bush completely avoiding the question, laughing at himself at the fact that hes an idiot and then thanking the person, who is usually escorted out of the room 20 minutes later and who very often finds their job or relevent memberships or ties severed the next day.

- pukufek, on 10/10/2007, -12/+3Americans were too pussy to shoot Ahmedinijad in New York, I would hope that if Bush arrived in Iran he would leave in a box.
- rfliss, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4We didn't shoot Ahmedinijad because he's not the true leading force in Iran, the clerics are. He's just a figure head and we built him up by bringing him here. All we would gain by shooting him is a nuclear war. Next time maybe you should know a little bit more about the countries your insulting?
- pukufek, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1Oh suck my balls please.
***** moran- worthone, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4It's people like you who give a bad name to idiots. Nice try with moran though.
- rfliss, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Haha, yeah, I'm the "moran" because I actually know what the hell is going on.
- pukufek, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1Oh suck my balls please.
- AdamGeld, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Shooting him would have been the wrong thing to do at the time anyway. The invitation was a diplomatic one. Assassinating Ahmedinijad would have simply strengthened the hatred of those who are angry at America and given them more credence.
- pukufek, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2***** that *****, America is number one.
- chsbrgr, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Amazing isn't it? we don't even have the home field advantage. /sarcasm

- theghoul, on 10/10/2007, -3/+14Bush's dumb ass would not speak in front of scholars , foreign or domestic.
- captric, on 10/10/2007, -7/+0Busch speaks in front of scholars all the time! Where are you from? Your cartoonish understanding of the US President is juvenile.
- TonyLocNE, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3and you must be one of the childrens BUSH's new educational spending bill is going to...

- tehxen3, on 10/10/2007, -9/+2If Bush went to Iran, he'd get shot.
Too bad US didn't shoot Ahmadinejad in New York.- lothar250, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yea too bad, because otherwise you'd be covered in bombs now
- chsbrgr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I guess you're not a fan of diplomacy, I see you're point though - everyone should at least TRY to kill everyone else ... psychopath.
