- roosevans, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Wouldn't be ironic is Cyclone Nargis ultimately brings to an end the rule of Burma's military junta?
- fajitamelt, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1I don't like the look of these comments.

But yes. GO! NOW! Give money to foreignors in Myanmar and other disaster ridden places while Americans starve and die in record numbers of impoverishment, sickness and disease and lack of government pay in the military. Don't worry about the firefighters who are sick and dying and who still haven't been represented after sacrificing their very lives during 9/11. GO! IMMEDIATELY! SAVE OTHERS! We'll be fine right here.... we'll wait.. - Lewie, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I wonder how many of those dead were dead before the storm hit (if you know what I mean). That is, if there was even a storm....do we have any 3rd party eye-witnesses, or are we taking the Junta's word for it?
- ploke, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1Amnesty International (Canada) could really use digg's publicity machine on this one. It is a petition to ban arms sales to Myanmar.
