- wjappe, on 10/05/2008, -3/+65Everyone says we need to do something but what? How do we go about doing something? She says we need to arrest the president. How do you go after someone like that? We have the right but he has the guns. Our structure of government is so locked up that complaining to congress is useless and now the army is going to get in our face. But the average citizen most likely won't even know what's going on unless they or someone they know gets hit by this. I have this bad feeling that I won't ever see the end of this. We would like a quiet peaceful overthrow of this bad government that won't follow the law but it seems some scary things are not far down the road. I'd like to do something about it but I have no idea what to do about it. Writing and bloging is like pissing in a wet suit, it gives you a warm feeling but no one notices (of any importance).
- allowners, on 10/05/2008, -4/+54As Palin would say: Betcha!
" There is a little-known coda to the Milgram Experiment, reported by Philip Zimbardo: none of the participants who refused to administer the final shocks insisted that the experiment itself be terminated, nor left the room to check the health of the victim without requesting permission to leave, as per Milgram's notes and recollections, when Zimbardo asked him about that point "
Obedience to Authority, The Milgram Experiment
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment - vbullinger, on 10/05/2008, -12/+57I like Naomi Wolf, but I have one question: why did she switch from Ron Paul to... Obama? She isn't fully awake yet.
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -19/+63Wolf is brilliant as usual. The only thing I would add is that she is way too soft and sympathetic towards our enemies. I would flat out murder every one of them on the spot. I'm not holding my breath because I have been trying to get people to act for two years. When their false sense of security is finally shattered by misery it will be too late to do anything about it.
- tgirlnurse, on 10/05/2008, -1/+43Scary...VERY SCARY...if there had been a change in the oath that I took from the Constitution to the Commander-in-Chief, I would have resigned my commission the instant it was put in front of me...it is my fervent hope that the Army I served in is still around, and sees what this is...another attempt for the power-brokers to remain there, since their day IS coming...when will the American people realise this and say enough is enough and truly make wholesale changes?...NO incumbent will ever get my vote again!!!
- wjappe, on 10/05/2008, -2/+42Scary, and I know some people don't know anything is wrong (what I meant to write, I seem to be screwing up like this pretty often).
- sheeplescareme, on 10/05/2008, -3/+41always enjoy listening to naomi. she was brilliant this past july in dc.
- quesi, on 10/05/2008, -6/+41Theree HAS been a coup, and those (Israeli loyalist) pundits and columnists that continue to obfuscate the truth should also be arrested. This is not coincidence, this is organized.
Kristol, Krauthammer, Medved, Hewitt, Blitzer, Cooper, Hannity, etc. Disloyal to the United States. - bizzywho, on 10/05/2008, -1/+34There are plenty of Americans that are awake. We've been called kooks, alarmists, conspiracy theorists etc. I hope like hell that people are finally coming around.
- brightlight4, on 10/05/2008, -3/+34WILL the people's army fight the people? That may well be where this whole plan could fall apart, unless they are being brainwashed too!
- stealthc, on 10/05/2008, -3/+31I think a lot of her book "End of America" is correct, but she strangely leaves out gun confiscation from the list of things tyrants do. I believe that she is at best just another one of those people from the American left who see the Bush administration as some kind of sudden junta against American liberty that we could fix if we just elected a Democrat to be President.
I've got news for her: this country has been non-free for almost a century.
(Please fix the dancing comment box!!!!!) - allowners, on 10/05/2008, -0/+27Naomi suggests approaching the judiciary. Given that the Executive and Legislative branches have merged and been lost, I'd say that is good advice, given that is the only avenue remaining short of ugly extreme measures.
- Catspaw, on 10/05/2008, -1/+28Wolfe encapsulated the problems well and one could hear fear in her voice. As she points out, the army would attack the people -as Stanley Milgram's experiments indicated. Many people will follow orders, even if it means killing fellow citizens. Refer:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment - allowners, on 10/05/2008, -0/+21No problem, it's a common glitch where the train of thought gets out of sync with transcription by the hands, it also happens to me, almost always when I'm in a rush. I generally just let it go when I go back and realize I dropped a word or negated what I was trying to say, I think most people figure it out. If not, it will keep them guessing. ;-)
- PeaceChicken, on 10/05/2008, -7/+27That's exactly what I was gonna say -- I wonder if she's gonna change her final vote to Chuck Baldwin now that she's seen all of RP's predictions coming true.
- WTFppl, on 10/05/2008, -1/+20The United States now has it's battle lines drawn. On one side you have ???. On the other side you have groups calling for truth and justice. Groups of individuals who work together, as well as alone, to find the truth of the wrong doings of public servants and then educate the public about these wrong doings.
The big problem I see; those who don't care, or don't know, wont be on the side of truth! - phathead, on 10/05/2008, -8/+27I agree. Anyone who thinks obama is going to swoop in and just throw all the power grabbed by Bush back is delusional.
- Chewbacca2000, on 10/05/2008, -3/+20DIGG AND SPREAD!!!
- odigity, on 10/05/2008, -0/+16The entirety of the New World Order would dissolve in less than a day if everybody in the world woke up at the same time.
Obviously that's unrealistic, but the point is that the aside from political activism, civil disobedience, and personal survivalism, the most important weapon is information. Educate yourself about everything, and educate as many people as you can.
That means letting go of preconceived notions about how the world really works and looking at all the evidence with objective and critical eyes. Here's a start:

1776 Patriots! - inactive, on 10/05/2008, -1/+15People are jerks, wjappe. Don't stress about it.
In other news, this has hit the front page! Great work guys... Keep spreading! - barbsat, on 10/05/2008, -2/+16Kristol is editor of the Weekly Standard. A NEOCON news magazine. He was also a signatory to the PNAC plan. Medvid is an Israel first talk show host. Hannity is the worst of the bucnh with his own radio program and a spot on Fox Noise.
- wjappe, on 10/05/2008, -4/+18Why is someone giving me negative diggs for such a simple and obvious statement?
- bluesman3535, on 10/05/2008, -1/+15Naomi wiped the floor with Dennis Prager on his radio show 10/02/08. He tried the same tricks O'Reilly uses, cutting her off and quickly altering the questions, raising his voice while her phone line volume was relatively low thanks to his propaganda production team of spinners. He proved what an agenda driven phony he is once again but her intelligence caught him off guard and made it obvious he's another Hannity-type of robot .
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -1/+15Yep, some people LOVE to follow orders, as it absolves them of any responsibility for their actions, and saves them from having to engage in thinking or decision making of their own.
Don't be fooled... there are plenty of US troops who wouldn't hesitate to turn their weapons on their own countrymen if ordered to do so. - stealthc, on 10/05/2008, -1/+14Wow. My point went sailing miles above your head. Of course *I* don't need someone to tell me that, as evidenced by the fact that I pointed out that Ms. Wolf left it out.
There are some people who do need to be informed or reminded of that. Gun confiscation is an INTEGRAL step to closing down a free society, and she wrote an entire book on the topic. It's like she published the recipe for chocolate cake and completely left out the sugar. The only explanation is that her ideology has a colossal blind spot on gun rights.
This fact combined with the fact that she'd be satisfied with Obama, and rest of the rhetoric (not meant here as a snarl word) she uses, my best conclusion is that she's no different from any other left-winger who is convinced that the Utopian world of Clinton's America was ruined by the Bush junta. The erosion of liberty in America goes much, much farther back than that. While it's informative to point out how the Bushes are following the Nazi recipe to the letter, it's intellectually dishonest to leave out all the prior presidents who were less effective at the same game, like Wilson, FDR, Truman, Johnson and Clinton (all Democrats), and downright dangerous to leave out the right to weapons as an essential pillar to a free society. - inactive, on 10/05/2008, -13/+26That destroys all her credibility and judgment in my mind. I'm thinking this interview isn't worth listening to in light of her support for CFR socialist Obama.
- bodegit, on 10/05/2008, -5/+17Wow, 46. She really looks great... MILF
- 555cRadioShack, on 10/05/2008, -3/+15If you preemptively do that, it will be used against you and further the cause of fascists. Imagine your face on Fox News, you won't last a week with every agency in America looking for you, now including the IRS.
First it starts at the local level. Local governments must be taken over by people who report directly on a weekly basis to its constituents. Imagine a small Town, City, County or Township that is sympathetic to your the cause. Then you won't have national candidates campaigning there. Locals can lower taxes to nothing, dismantle the increasing police force to nothing but basics, give residents free training in how to use a firearm, setup hostels for traveling indymedia, take over the school system to teach monetary policy and related history. If this Liberty Panacea is located near major metropolis, it makes turning near by cities into an aliance. Universities will be surrounded, students with needed skills to further the cause, like constitutional law, can have tuition paid for and living quarters paid for in return for working to help secure the safe release or reduced sentences of our fellow combatants likely to be incarcerated as the movement grabs hold to take over a whole state. Then state National Guards will be under our control and law enforcement will be reduced. Any outside resources that will be cut off to the state or city by not playing ball with the Feds will need to be reduced to 0 reliance. A new local currency will arise. Cable TV will be shut off. High Speed Internet will be a new utility, controlled by a co-op. The State Central Bank eliminated. Local National Banks converted. State Legislatures and Governorships eliminated. The mass will be self directed locally city by city.
First, it starts with the taking over of a single block, then neighborhood, then city hall. - inactive, on 10/05/2008, -0/+12She's a patriot... so... PILF
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -9/+21Naomi Wolf = MILF
- oldhick, on 10/05/2008, -1/+12That's not logical. How is Obama leagues better? He supports teleco amnesty, he supports the patriot act, he supports financial and military support for Israel, he supports the bail out, he's just as bad on EVERY level.
- stealthc, on 10/05/2008, -5/+16I think she's just another pressure release valve. She's there to gather the people who know something is wrong and channel them behind one of the establishment candidates.
- newsound6, on 10/05/2008, -0/+10I'd rather live in a world where the debate was between Naomi Wolf's liberalism vs Ron Paul's conservatism than what we have going on now.
- peestandingup, on 10/06/2008, -0/+10Basically we need a new American Revolution. We're long overdue.
There basically needs to be a ***** load (like millions) of people to rise up & take charge. Peacefully at first, but we know that doesnt usually work. - xenoploid, on 10/06/2008, -0/+10Here's the Army Times article she's talking about. While Army units have been deployed when emergencies have occurred (e.g. Katrina), this unit is permanently deployed to be available in the event of an emergency.
http://www.armytimes.com/news/2008/09/army_homelan ... - howenlink, on 10/05/2008, -1/+10I think her conclusion in the video is that the neo-cons will not allow Obama to win.
- chadpyle, on 10/06/2008, -0/+9You guys are so consumed with party politics, you can't even hear the important message. If there was any agenda in that interview it was 'buy my book'. But her claims can be confirmed with a little research. And if her claims are correct, who cares who she's voting for?
I'm a die-hard Ron Paul supporter, but that doesn't mean I refuse to listen to someone who has a different view, and neither does Dr. Paul. That's partly what makes him so inspirational, is his willingness to follow his moral code, not his party.
Take your blinders off and see the big picture. - inactive, on 10/05/2008, -0/+9i think wjappe is pretty cool guy. eh hates verbs and doesnt afraid of anything
- kjwilson9999, on 10/06/2008, -4/+12Whether this is crap or not, America is hardly the "land of the free" anymore. Time to shake up the establishment and vote third party.
McCain/Palin? Please. Don't insult us.
Obama/Biden? Sure, if we want to FURTHER socialize America by giving the government even MORE control.
Together we can show our politicians that we are tired. Libertarians are for getting government out of our lives. And no (prior comments demand I write this) I don't mean we won't have any more roads paved...
Educate yourself! Revolution!!
www.campaignforliberty.com - thrive868, on 10/06/2008, -0/+8I was there too. She has a very powerful and beautiful voice.
- alowercaseq, on 10/05/2008, -0/+8You're asking if the ARMY has been BRAINWASHED? THE ***** CITIZENS HAVE BEEN BRAINWASHED, WHY WOULDN'T THE ARMY?
Ever hear of Stanley Milgram's experiments regarding chain of command and dissolution of responsibility? Very pertinent. - gerwinnz, on 10/05/2008, -0/+8i liked this from the end of america movie,
"a society, that is willing to give up a little liberty, to secure a little security. deserves neither, and will loose both."
thats gold. - loki49152, on 10/06/2008, -0/+7You haven't been paying attention to the UK, have you? They are, today, a fully fascist state.
- oldhick, on 10/05/2008, -2/+9Yeah, cause murdering those with opposing ideologies wouldn't be fascists at all... I can't wait to replace a fascist, intolerant, fear mongering regime with another led by idiots just as ignorant.
I hope and pray that are folks out there who remember individual liberty, the pursuit of knowledge, and have a brain. Here are the Internet tough guys who don't do *****, won't ever do *****, and have no clue what to do if they ever had to. You embarrass yourself with your pathetic bravado and bring shame on those who are actually working in the streets for the return of liberty. - Intercon, on 10/05/2008, -1/+8Ask the kids at Kent State.
- jikbag, on 10/06/2008, -0/+7While I don't agree that an all out coupe has happened or is likely to happen, we all need to have a plan just in case they decide to suspend the elections, steal the election, declare martial law, etc... The recent events that Naomi has outlined are indeed disturbing and mostly if not all true. We cannot allow these people to take over our country. Get together with your close friends and form an affinity group. Decide on some direct action. If the administration decides that they want to try a power grab, we need to go completely ape *****. At the very least, don't go to work and don't pay any taxes until they handover the democracy again.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affinity_group - bjornski, on 10/05/2008, -0/+7She's absolutely brilliant, and I think she's one of the sexiest women in politics, wait no, in the nation. There yeah. That.
