These are professional politicians, i.e., people who have all their lives lived off the labour of hard-working people. They have never added an iota of economic value to mankind. They have risen in the political hierarchy by backstabbing, badmouthing, boot-licking, swindling, stealing, robbing, and not to mention abandoning every shred of human decency. Furthermore, their primary aim in life consists of getting in a position of power where they can rob, bully, control, and even kill citizens with impunity. Am I to assume that such people should be above accepting bribes? Am I to be outraged if they do?
Folks in the media, get some sense of proportion! (unless of course, your outrage is just a ploy to keep the populace ignorant of the fundamental corruption inherent in politics.)
Cheers!
