While we are there our military should be destroying and/ or disarming Iraqi militias, securing the Iraq and Iran border to keep Iranian weapons out of Iraq, and training the Iraq army to do the same! Leave the banking to the Iraqi banks!
  • BECoole, on 04/09/2008, -1/+2I totally disagree with bribing these people. That is one of the things that have made this war so outrageously expensive and such a drag on the value of the dollar. Between this and people defaulting on their mortgages, it's like a perfect economic storm.
    We need to cut the bribes and win this old school.

    I don't think you can help the Iraqis there, but you can make small loans to people who need help all over the world.

    I am all for helping out businesses and everything, but there is a huge difference between a hand-out and a loan.
