campaign.blog.bobbarr2008.com — While we may not know where Senator McCain stands on many issues, compliments of CNN, we do know that he stands in a pair of $500 Italian made designer shoes...

- jcm267, on 07/31/2008, -16/+9You people can't manage to go to McCain's web site to find out his positions and have to rely on the newsmedia? Why do you Libertarians need your information spoon-fed to you?
- kemp34, on 07/31/2008, -3/+11So you admit the corporate media spoon feeds?
- jcm267, on 08/01/2008, -5/+5I was mocking you people, kemp. And while I wouldn't phrase it the same way that you do I do believe that the television media is overly simplistic and sensationalist.
Having said that, Alex Jones makes Olbermann look like Edward R. Murrow.

- caferrell, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2@jcm267, we have the information. That is why we are going to vote Libertarian. The great majority of Americans do not have information, they have propaganda and that is why they are going to vote for Bush and Obama.
And then there are you guys from the Zionist-neocon league, and frankly I can`t understand your motivations. You do have access to real information but spend most of your time trying to make sure that the average guy who just goes to digg's front page doesn't see that information. And I am not talking about truther issues, I am talking about the fact that our economy is on the verge of collapse. I am talking about the ethnic cleansing being imposed on the Palestinians with American financing.
What is your motivation anyway?
- kemp34, on 07/31/2008, -3/+11So you admit the corporate media spoon feeds?
- muckemuck, on 07/31/2008, -2/+11Republicans can't manage to go to McCain's web site to find out his positions and have to rely on the newsmedia. They need their information spoon-fed to them so it's important that the media focus on the real issues..... and the media also needs to give information on ALL of the candidates since so many Republicans seem to think that there are only two people running for President.
- DuggDowner, on 08/01/2008, -0/+4I didn't realize McCain had positions. I thought he was just running as the anti-Obama candidate.
- groovsmyth, on 08/04/2008, -0/+2That's one I wish I could digg more than once!
We NEED Alan Keyes for President!

- KMye, on 07/31/2008, -7/+9"The second most powerful man in the free world is the Vice President of the United States."
God that's the dumbest thing I've read in a long time...- muckemuck, on 08/01/2008, -2/+4nahhh.. doesn't hold a candle to this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DqR7zis99I
- Matricul8tr, on 07/31/2008, -1/+11We are so screwed with the peeps running this show...Please, let Americans be not as stupid as they think. It's all I want for Christmas.
- vault, on 08/01/2008, -5/+5Many issues? I can't think of a single one of McCain's positions that is not clear.
http://www.johnmccain.com/Informing/Issues/- muckemuck, on 08/01/2008, -1/+5Please go ask someone on the street what John McCain will do about the weakening dollar. Watch the blank look on their face. The media doesn't cover the real issues much but does cover the fluff like whether it was ok for Obama to pull that prayer out of the wall.. or what shoes McCain was wearing.. etc.. etc..
His issues are clear on his web site. Yes. But the majority of the people get their political opinions and information from the TV.- vault, on 08/01/2008, -2/+2http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/issues/index.html
CNN has adequately covered the issues, as have Fox, MSNBC, various newspapers, Meet the Press, etc. You could search youtube for clips of the issues being discussed if you were so inclined. Just because CNN also mentioned this absurd thing about the type of shoes McCain wears doesn't mean they never covered anything else.
Barr is just trying unsuccessfully to use the fact we already know who his running mate is as an argument against McCain and the MSM which ignores him.

- nontoxyc, on 08/01/2008, -8/+2John McCain spent 7 years in a Vietnamese POW camp for America. I think he deserves to wear nice shoes if he wants to.
- siszam, on 08/01/2008, -1/+3So do all children and the poor. McCain is no more deserving of nice things than anyone else.
Don't worry. McCain won't be the next president so it really doesn't matter what he thinks. He's a failure like Bush. - Rotzooi, on 08/01/2008, -0/+1Because he was a bad pilot? Nah, he should have stayed in Vietnam.

- MarkEarhart, on 08/01/2008, -1/+6Assuming we still have an election, which will surprise the Hell out of me.
- ThinkOutTheBox, on 08/01/2008, -0/+6Am I only one that thinks giving the most powerful position in the world to a former POW just seems like a bad idea? There is bound to be some psychological effects from that experience that might have an impact on his judgment. The last thing we need is another knee-jerk reaction if another attack was to happen on American soil.
- tajitj, on 08/01/2008, -1/+8Even if you can't donate, a Digg is like paying for advertising. There are things you can do to promote Barrs campaign for free. Leaving civil pro Barr comments and links on social sites helps more then you realize.
http://www.barrbomb.com/ - willster580, on 08/01/2008, -1/+4At least there is one candidate that gets it. There are a lot of political issues that people get really worked up about that in reality don't really matter that much. Sure, gay marriage would be a cool thing to have but does it really matter that much compared to a war in Iraq? At least one candidate realizes that the media is wasting our time. He may not win, but he's sure as ***** got my vote.
- Rotzooi, on 08/01/2008, -2/+2Bob Barr is the idiot who brought us the $40m Bill Clinton blowjob witchhunt. No, thanks.
- muckemuck, on 08/01/2008, -1/+2Barr started the impeachment process (much to the chagrin of the Republicans) long before Monica was in the picture. He originally was trying to impeach Clinton because of the corruption in the Clinton administration. Once the Monica scandal broke and Clinton lied under oath it became obvious to the Republicans that the easiest thing to pin on Clinton was the purgery charge.
.. besides, Bill Clinton is the idiot for getting a blowjob in the White House where there are cameras and microphones everywhere.

- jfkdem, on 08/01/2008, -0/+3Like the Clinton campaign, the McMain campaign has shown itself to be irrelevant/McCain is still 'fighting' the Viet Nam war in a world that is far more complex with much more far reaching consequences. He is campaigning with the politics of personal destructions developed by Bill Clinton and perfected by Rove.
In the 1990s, these worked. In 2008 most ordinary Americans see these tactics for what they are. And most americans see mccain fiddling while rome burns.
Most Americans care about the economy, the Wars we are embroiled in and their freedoms being stripped away.
Bob Barr is the only candidate who can see through the mess in Washington, the drivel that passes for campaigning and and the very serious assault on our consitution and personal liberties.
He has positions and strategies regarding the issues that face Americans daily.
Show the Republicans and Democrats what we think of what they have done to us and to our country!

Bob Barr 2008 - groovsmyth, on 08/04/2008, -0/+1Sure, one could be a Liberterian and be as licentious as the next person.
But the Founders realized that the freedoms we enjoy as a Democratic Republic need the dicipline and responsibility of a God-fearing constituency. Those inalienable rights they talked about come from GOD, and therefore cannont be taken away by any man.
THE PEOPLE need to realize they can't be self-indulgent and still have the freedom they have grown to expect.
