Ugly Arts & Crafts Bitch Beats A Dead Horse - bo1990, on 12/02/2008, -15/+106...and a subpoena in his stocking?
- inactive, on 12/02/2008, -34/+98Don't get all misty eyed yet, lefties:
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/reliable-source/2 ... - Quick2822, on 12/03/2008, -20/+80Impeach Bush? People are still chanting that mantra? Wouldn't it take longer to impeach Bush vs. waiting less than 50 days for him to be forced to leave?
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -3/+56Wow, they aren't hanging it?
That is such a surprise, oh my god. - Cyberen, on 12/03/2008, -17/+57Wow, look at these comments:
"ugly looking tool"
"Filthy Leftie partisan bitch."
"Give it up you morons."
You can tell the bush lovers come out of the woodwork to post on here and in the article.
If all bush had done was make a few bad policy decisions, this would seem over-the-top.
But he has lied us into war, sacrificing over 4,000 troops and hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis in the process, gutted the constitution, weakened regulations and gave tax cuts which did nothing to prevent this recession, on his watch.
Considering what Bush has done, I'd say giving his tree an ornament that's pro-impeachment is really freaking small potatoes.
I'm baffled as to the foaming-at-the mouth displayed here. Impeachment means future presidents won't be able to do all of the things Bush has done without question. But I guess even suggesting it during a holiday is too much to ask for. We're all supposed to be quiet and respectful of a murderous aristocrat. 9/11 is over. There's little time left to do SOMETHING about this injustice, Xmas or not. We're a secular nation, remember?
It's still baffling that some people cling so tightly to Dubya after he's failed at everything in office, except for enriching his corporate overlords. - allfatherblack, on 12/03/2008, -22/+51Im sorry, but I have to agree. This doesnt seem the time for partisan agendas, and yes, I would be considered a "lefty". I live in Seattle, and I know from personal experience that Seattlites want nothing more than to push their political agendas whenever they can, and quite frankly, I am tired of it ;)
- Aguyinachair, on 12/03/2008, -11/+40Funny, I thought Christmas was about coming together under a spirit of thankfulness, understanding, and charity.
But calling a person a horrible stupid bitch is Christian-like too I guess.
It was a joke. Loosen your ass. - PoizonFrog, on 12/02/2008, -10/+37Have you tried breathing into a paper bag?
- TMTurtle, on 12/03/2008, -15/+40It's the symbolism of it at the very least.
Bush is the worst president in this nation's history and the American people have done nothing about it. - shakeyjake, on 12/03/2008, -7/+27I have mixed feelings on this. While I think there is a interesting argument for impeachment of Bush . . . .and I love a good prank . . . . . I also believe there is a certain amount of basic respect we should all show the office of the President and the executive branch of our country.
- Icetype, on 12/03/2008, -10/+30Wow, when did Digg become overrun by Republicans?
- flumkin, on 12/03/2008, -16/+35Give it a rest Me016, the ***** neocon talking points you're regurgitating show how stupid you are.
I don't know what shows a higher level of stupidity - spewing these moronic talking points like a gag reflex or actually believing that there are any Americans who are more concerned about hazing a detainee at Abu Ghraib than the safety of our soldiers. Your type is the real cancer on this country - the juvenile name calling (what the ***** is a moonbat? did your 5 year old teach that to you?) and accusations of others "hating America first" only makes people laugh at you. Nobody takes idiots like you seriously any more.
Stick your head back up your ass and listen to Neal Boortz, ass hat. - Sabre24q7, on 12/03/2008, -7/+26Does this actually qualify as news ? =|
- qxrt, on 12/03/2008, -1/+20I guess it's all about leaving a stain on his Presidency as a good-bye present. History tends to forget how bad a President was unless there's a big red flag such as an impeachment.
- Xcel, on 12/03/2008, -0/+16Are you serious?
- haydukeqc, on 12/03/2008, -15/+31too bad it looks like crap
- ProjectGSX, on 12/03/2008, -9/+23Bj = Empeachment
Torture, not so much. - inactive, on 12/03/2008, -6/+20This shouldn't BE an partisan thing. That is the whole ***** problem. Left AND right should be screaming to impeach him. The reason the right isn't is because they benefited from the illegalities of the Bush administration, bunch of worthless hypocrites.
- sanosuke001, on 12/03/2008, -2/+15Criminal charges and punishment are still possible. Just because he is out of office doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be impeached. Do you want him to get away with all he's done? Because not doing anything is saying you condoned his actions.
- jftitan, on 12/03/2008, -3/+16And bill Clinton lied about a blow job, and yet we proceeded to impeach him.
So I take, being the worst president is getting a dick sucked and lying about it.
Yup, I really don't understand how the logic between Clinton as worst president vs George W, and him running this country down the proverbial Tubes! that we cannot see, yet the tubes get bigger. - djjuice, on 12/03/2008, -10/+22read the article, there is an update saying it will not be used. Buried for inaccuracy.
- darlingt, on 12/03/2008, -4/+16The end of an error.
- Rdeck, on 12/03/2008, -4/+16And if he leaves office without his crimes being examined by impeachment proceedings, all of them become acceptable and precedents for all future presidents.
- foofightrs777, on 12/03/2008, -1/+13It's more likely than not that Gore would have actually read the intelligence briefings prior to 9/11. WOuld he have been able to issue orders that would have allowed the security services to prevent it? Who knows, but it would have been nice to have a better shot.
Would he have invaded Afghanistan? Maybe. Iraq? Not a chance as there was nothing to "deal with". Just trumped up and manufactured charges brought up by the White house.
WOuld Katrina have happened? Of course, but some measures after the fact would likely have been taken.
Recession? Most likely. The Dems have been just as guilty in terms of deregulation and stupid measures as the Repubs.
I think you're painting in slightly too broad of strokes. - FredFredrickson, on 12/03/2008, -2/+14How about we save our presidential respect for a president who has shown us some first?
- dolphindance25, on 12/03/2008, -10/+21Wow, I didn't realize until the end of your comment that you were not being sarcastic. I thought people like you just stuck to talk radio during the day and emerged out of your holes at nightfall.
So, Mr. ConcernedMan, how many US troops' lives it was worth to give the Iraqis their present situation? 4500? That's 9000 parents without a son/daughter mind you. How many Iraqi deaths? Estimates are over 1 million since the invasion. How about the damaged American credibility to tackle other human rights issues, which could have bought more freedims' to other people?
Would you let your son or daughter die for this mission in Iraq? Think about it. On second thought, don't bother. Your brain might explode if a thought contradictory to your preconceived image of the world is introduced.
And PS: Just because some "moonbat" screams something into a microphone, it doesn't make him correct. - CaptCarrot, on 12/03/2008, -6/+17Change we can be leavin'.
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -12/+23Yeah, because getting a BJ in office constitutes for impeachment while waging an illegal war, sending American's to their death for no clear cause, privatizing military contracts with no-bid agreements, eradicating environmental legislation, and pissing on the constitution doesn't constitute for impeachment...
Save the decorated balls of "worst president in history" for the Faux News Christmas party. - reugeneg, on 12/03/2008, -2/+13Yeah! Cause the conservative pundits never did!
- pintomp3, on 12/03/2008, -1/+12bj + budget surplus
vs
no bj + economic meltdown + 2 occupations
i'll take the former. - inactive, on 12/03/2008, -3/+13I think a lot of TRUE republicans, which does not include bush and his cronies, have been quiet for fear of losing their jobs.
- allfatherblack, on 12/03/2008, -4/+14Impeachment is now pointless, but that doesnt mean he shouldnt be indicted of other crimes he has commited.
- jgzman, on 12/03/2008, -2/+11Oddly enough, if we weren't in Iraq, (which is what us dopey moonbats really want) then our troops would be a) safe, and b) not treating prisoners poorly.
The fact that we didn't find WMD in Iraq means that we were lied into war. During the run up to the war, I said repeatedly that if Bush would have stood up and said, 'Look, this Saddam guy is a giant pain in the ass, let's go kick him over,' he would have had my support. Being truthful about our motives might also have resulted in a better war plan, which would have resulted in the deaths of fewer American troops.
Are the new found freedoms of the Iraq people worth the price we have paid in blood? How about the price they have paid, in blood? That one is a tricky question. The Iraq people themselves do not seem to think so, what with their efforts to get us out of their country. At best, it seems like they are glad we did our job, now could we please go away. More likely, they would like us to stop ***** things up so that they can try to pick up whatever pieces remain. - Jabb0, on 12/03/2008, -2/+11This title of this submission is true...If we were in opposite land!
http://rawstory.com/news/2008/White_House_xmas_tre ... - Charlotte_Web, on 12/03/2008, -7/+16article is INACCURATE:
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/reliable-source/2 ... - pintomp3, on 12/03/2008, -3/+12given that obama will be president, republicans should be fully behind impeachment of bush. the executive branch has slowly been amassing powers which were never intended to be consolidated into one branch of government. impeaching bush would weaken the executive branch, thus obama. impeachment would go a long way towards bringing back checks and balances.
- pintomp3, on 12/03/2008, -6/+15it's ok to be a complete dick to a total douchbag. how many people have died because of her? bush does not deserve our respect, he deserves a fair trial.
- askantik, on 12/03/2008, -6/+15Do you ***** know what an illegal occupation of TWO sovereign nations means? How about detaining people without a trial at Guantanamo Bay? I could sit here and list ***** all day. Grow a ***** brain, btschul.
- askantik, on 12/03/2008, -4/+12If you think it would "waste" money (or even cost millions of tax payer dollars for that matter) you are not very intelligent.
- scoottie, on 12/03/2008, -5/+13"The nine-inch ball is covered with swirly red and white stripes"
is that a cover band for Nine Inch Nails?
The funny thing about Christmas tree ornaments is that they happen to fall and break alot - B1ackmath, on 12/03/2008, -5/+13Actually, were it to happen, it just might be the first time in a decade your tax money is used for something positive.
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -2/+10Charlotte_Web, there isn't a single cause/effect for the meltdown of the economy.
And I'm guessing they voted for the war based on the pretenses Bush declared. Which ended up being a complete lie. Did you forget that part? - Exiuschan, on 12/03/2008, -0/+8No, Nixon was never impeached. It's Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton.
- mmijatov, on 12/02/2008, -30/+38That's awesome. Love it.
- FreddieD, on 12/03/2008, -0/+8Could I get you to make a video with this message, preferably underneath a bed sheet with tears streaming down your face?
- MewTwo, on 12/03/2008, -2/+10Yes. Just shut up and respect an administration. Even if they have committed acts that are detrimental to your country, SERIOUSLY detrimental for your country, and the world.
