I like the examples but here you have to realize that he was also being sued for sexual harassment and I'm sure his lawyers came up with this for the lawsuit. Normally a sitting president wouldn't have to defend lawsuits until he is out of office for this very reason but if you recall we had the witch hunt buy the republican right. If there was no case then he would have come clean in the proper way. Notice that now Bush and Cheney and all the cronies are doing and saying stuff and NOT being held accountable for anything.

Just my opinion based on being a Sexual Harrassment Attorney.
