- RunDiggMC, on 03/06/2009, -1/+101You can milk anything with nipples.
- badqat, on 03/06/2009, -2/+61I know...when I was a kid, we were so poor, we milked the cat for our cereal. Of course, since we were so poor, our cereal consisted of pine cones and bark.
Good times! - LupeFiasco, on 03/06/2009, -1/+52Why should Horse milk any more or less weird than Cow's milk?
- itsradBrad, on 03/06/2009, -1/+35It tastes better than Bull milk.
- Dumbledorito, on 03/06/2009, -1/+28I think I saw this on RedTube somewhere...
- tehphoberer, on 03/06/2009, -3/+28You guys don't put horse milk on your cereal?
- pookydirt, on 03/06/2009, -0/+24Could you milk ME, Greg?
- sporkman, on 03/06/2009, -1/+25You guys know what a Mammal is, right?
- sloonark, on 03/06/2009, -1/+24Ha ha! Different cultures are different from us! Ha ha!
- omenmedia, on 03/06/2009, -0/+20Horse milk.
- inactive, on 03/06/2009, -2/+22The problem with horse milk is it doesn't show up on the shelves of American grocery stores, so it's automatically strange and disgusting.
- madcaow, on 03/06/2009, -2/+21i drink plenty of... MALK??
- thecosmicpope, on 03/06/2009, -0/+19People drink goats milk too. And we have goats milk cheese and yogurts. Why is horse so much worse?
- skribeForti, on 03/06/2009, -1/+19Holly: We're a bit short on a few supplies.
Lister: Like what?
Holly: Cow's milk. Ran out of that yonks ago. Fresh and dehydrated.
Lister: What kind of milk are we using now?
Holly: Emergency back-up supply. We're on the dog's milk.
Lister: Dog's milk?
Holly: Nothing wrong with dog's milk. Full of goodness, full of vitamins, full of marrowbone jelly. Lasts longer than any other type of milk, dog's milk.
Lister: Why?
Holly: No bugger'll drink it. - darkwing81, on 03/06/2009, -0/+16i wonder who it was that decided that cow milk was the way to go.
- r0g3r, on 03/06/2009, -1/+14Why would you think any ancient culture wouldn't use whatever resources were available to them? Including horse milk, which I''m not surprised that they drank. Some African tribes drink cow blood for sustenance...you know, different cultures and all that jazz.
- wisam, on 03/06/2009, -1/+13Not a big deal. Kazakhs even eat horses and according to this Wikipedia article, many nations do.

- spoon088, on 03/06/2009, -1/+12Woah dude, like why didn't these 3000BC dudes just go to the supermarket and get some milk with their credit cards man.
- Trax91, on 03/06/2009, -0/+11I took the liberty of milking your cow.
- superm1ke, on 03/06/2009, -0/+11"Donkey and horse milk have the lowest fat content, while the milk of seals and whales can contain more than 50% fat."
- inactive, on 03/06/2009, -1/+9fortified with vitamin...R?
- slugpellet63, on 03/06/2009, -1/+9No this is science. You are ***** stupid.
someone had to tell him. - fattony89, on 03/06/2009, -2/+9i wonder what it tastes like.
- darkfish, on 03/06/2009, -1/+8@MasterGrief
Um, you do realize that cattle were also used as beasts of burden. There are still parts of the world where they don't have the luxury of specialization for domesticated animals. - Calcularius, on 03/06/2009, -1/+8Centuries of breeding an animal whose purpose is to give lots of milk has just led up to it, I believe.
I think central Africans have been milking cows for a very long time.
Most likely, those hand-shaped teats are a result of letting the cows with the biggest boobs have babies first. - Dumbledorito, on 03/06/2009, -0/+7If that's the case, I wonder why so many fundies think masturbation is wrong...
- dienaked, on 03/06/2009, -0/+6Who would want to drink cow milk?
They drag their ***** thru ***** all day long. ;P - ndcadzdsc, on 03/06/2009, -1/+7I never developed a taste for milk as a beverage, having been allergic when I was young, but cowmilk cheese is wonderful, and goatmilk cheese is wonderful, and sheepsmilk cheese is wonderful, so I'd be happy to be the test group for horsemilk cheese! I've been trying to eat healthier, but I will never give up the amazing, splendiferous wonders of glorious CHEESE! Dry crumbly cheese, waxy spongy cheese, soft stinky farmhouse cheese, everything from it's all friggin great!
- Jacare, on 03/06/2009, -0/+5horse is actually a fairly common meat in alot of countries, pretty much all of mainland Europe, Scandinavia, Asia, and the province of Quebec in Canada(in most of these places you can find it in the supermarkets). the only countries that really frown upon it or think its weird are the the US, the UK, and the rest of Canada(specifically Alberta)(in these places usually only specialty butchers have it, it is also frequently labeled in a different language than english, i have found that italian butchers have it). its actually quite good, very similar to beef, but a little sweeter. and its practically fat free. if you cook it past rare it usually turns into rubber tho(low fat content). its one of the few red meats that's actually good for you.
- Coylter, on 03/06/2009, -0/+5Yea you can actually milk a man. And i mean real milk. As in Cereal Milk and not the other milk.
- Middleleft, on 03/06/2009, -0/+5Cows were better because horses give only small amounts of milk spread out evenly throughout the day. I have milked a horse to get the colostrum for a baby when it couldn't get up and nurse right away.
- Calcularius, on 03/06/2009, -0/+5I don't understand? People like horses, but they don't want to drink the horse's milk?
- apothekari, on 03/06/2009, -1/+6Could've been worse...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhjGXCk-RVU
- depaulBaatar, on 03/06/2009, -0/+5ferment it and its called "airag" in Mongolia. You can buy it on the streets in Ulaanbaatar.
Airag is kind of tangy. - lioozher, on 03/06/2009, -0/+5Whales are a bitch to milk though...
- zephc, on 03/06/2009, -0/+4dugg: Red Dwarf - always relevant
- mrcleaver, on 03/06/2009, -1/+5Holy ***** guys, look at these weirdos, they drink HORSE milk! Hahaha, they don't even know how to speak american!
- AussieSheila, on 03/06/2009, -1/+5I drank kumiss once. It tastes a bit unusual, but very nice in a way. They say it's really nutritious.
- k3rfuffl3, on 03/06/2009, -0/+4Because people are idiots.
- osok, on 03/06/2009, -1/+5When I was a kid on the farm, I tried it on a dare.. not bad, little rich, slightly strange taste. but quite drinkable..
- Lewie, on 03/06/2009, -1/+4Goat cheese is amazing!
- stuffradio, on 03/06/2009, -0/+3*looks around with shifty eyes*
- thelastcivilian, on 03/06/2009, -0/+3Horse meat is available at grocery stores in Quebec.

- darkfish, on 03/06/2009, -0/+3Why are the retards digging you down? Do they know what fermented mare's milk is called?
- vincevega87, on 03/06/2009, -0/+3I like a horse milk! Is nice wiz gypsy tears!
- vincevega87, on 03/06/2009, -0/+3Back in those days they didn't accept credit cards, only cash and cheques...
- InferiorWang, on 03/06/2009, -0/+3Umm...you're commenting on the wrong story.
- Frostek, on 03/06/2009, -1/+4Also, they ate the horse too when they needed the meat...
This article poster sounds clueless about history. -
