Honolulu's rush hour traffic worst in the U.S.
starbulletin.com — INRIX, a privately held Seattle-based corporation, yesterday released its National Traffic Scorecard, and ranked Honolulu as having the worst drive-time travel time in the nation, over Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City.

- moviestarart, on 06/19/2008, -0/+2I was there. It's just awful. Most people do not try to go downtown or out and about during rush hour. They plan their shopping around it. If it's after three my brother will not go anywhere.

- tomboy501, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1Not really. Unfortunately, I see far less bicycles around town than SUVs driven by one person. And Honolulu's lawmakers have been dragging their heels developing a light rail system for the past 30 years. The city might see a working one in 10 years. Maybe. :(
