Homeowner Kills Burglar

- Stevanoski, on 05/23/2008, -1/+5Of course there is no way to forget the day I confronted burglars in our home. One tried to press charges on me for assault and battery with a deadly weapon, I had to spend $200 on a top notch lawyer to make DA go away.
Oh, and by the way, when you are confronted with a burglar in your home you are SCARED, unless you are in a Hollywood movie, and when you are scared you can hit HARD. I still thank God they were between me and my guns because I have no doubt I would have shot them. And who would choose to have that on their conscience? - knucklebusted, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1It is not that property is worth more than their life, it is they who valued their life less than property. On home invasion, there are no rules for the home owner. I'd never allow any jury I sat on to convict a home owner defending against an invader.
