We all need to act as a witness to this.
I don't know which television network will be covering next year's Olympics in China, but I'm going to find out, and I'm going to write-in and let them know that I won't be watching ANY part of the summer games unless China puts real pressure on the Junta.
Please do the same. And spread the word. -

Take a minute to visit the above link, and let NBC know that you'll boycott their Olympic Games coverage if China doesn't exert real pressure on the military rulers in Burma. To give you an idea of what to say, below is what I wrote.
"Dear NBC; I write this note to inform your network that unless the Chinese government exerts real, demonstrable pressure on the military Junta in Burma (Myanmar), to show restraint and stop the killing and imprisonment of monks, men, women and children; as a form of protest against the Chinese government, I will be boycotting your coverage of the Olympic games in China." -

Why the ***** should we care about what happens in another country. Does it affect YOU directly?? NO! Tired of hearing you whiny people cry & snivel about what goes on overseas in some obscure 3rd world country. Take the time to put down your latte while your on your new cell phone & look at what is going on in your own backyard. If some dictator wants to kill his own people then let him. IT'S NONE OF OUR BUSINESS, AND IT DOES NOT AFFECT YOU. America needs to address it's OWN problems & quit trying to be the world police. SOME COUNTRIES DON'T WANT A DEMOCRACY.
