Hezbollah returns Israel two coffins

cnn.com — Convicted murderer Samir Kuntar along with 4 other Lebanese prisoners and 199 bodies, were exchanged for the remains of kidnapped Israeli soldiers Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser this morning. The soldiers' condition was kept secret until the very last moment of the exchange.

    This does not happen in Israel, but liberals seem to think that dealing with Palestinians is an easy job.

Surely there's some explanation for this, these poor and oppressed people aren't actually -celebrating- the deaths of these two men, right? They're not actually -celebrating- the release of a child murderer, right? This must be some sort of mistake! The leader of Hamas isn't using this occasion to say that, "surely victory is possible," right?

    Digg is waiting for an explanation, surely there is one.
  • downs1, on 07/16/2008, -2/+1Samir Kuntar is reveling in his release from Israeli captivity and the Islamic terrorists are crowing that this is a great victory for them and for their cause. Kuntar was serving 4 life sentences for his crimes, but now he is "free" ... Indeed, he is free to be executed by Israeli special forces at some time in the future, the time and the place to be determined. The fact that the two soldiers, Regev and Goldwasser, were kidnapped in a raid by terrorists and killed, and their bodies later used in exchange for 5 live terrorists will not set well with the Israelis. Retribution will surely follow. Kuntar is a dead man! The 4 others are now also targets.
