Her sister,2, was accidentally smothered to death while her mother tried to keep her quiet. Kantar may walk free in exchange for Israeli soldiers - but his crime will be remembered

- writie, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1The irony is that Kuntar - clearly a psychopath - is probably being freed whereas there are 41 members of the Palestine legislative council sitting in Israeli prisons waiting for charges to be pressed for the past two years. They have no connection with Lebanon's Hezbollah, obviously, and therefore are not included. But the idea of a psychopath walking free when elected members of the council have yet to be even charged is unfortunate.
Having said that, it's a good thing that Israel and Hezbollah are doing deals. A whole range of things could be resolved on that front, so securing that border. Such a shame that Kuntar is included though.
