If the whackos get their way in this country, the way they have in other parts of the weaker West, then ALL of the West will become weaker and devolve into a the same kind of third world mentality that the east struggles with and is succumbing to on a daily basis.
If you take a cab in the third world, and that cab gets into an accident, who’s at fault? The cab driver, the other driver… NO…. YOU ARE… if it weren’t for your hiring of the cab and directing to that address, the accident would not have happened, “ergo”… you are to blame. That’s third world thinking.
If we could only get people who see the other issues as clearly as apparently they do this issue (having observed these comments) then we could once again set the example for the rest of the West who might then extricate themselves from the mess of muddled thinking they have since adopted.
How much different is:
"this is my mouth, and I'll do what I want with it"
from...
"this is my yard, and I'll do what I want with it"?
"this is my car, and I'll do what I want with it"?
"this is my money, and I'll do what I want with it"?
"this is my tree, and I'll do what I want with it"?
"this is my life, and I'll do what I want with it"?
The last 40 years in the US have been ALL about converting America from a society that respects the individual and the rights of the individual, into one that accepts the "necessity" of control over the individual’s excesses.
The foil being used is always, always, always is that my "right" is effecting/affecting someone else’s “right”. Well, so does my speech, but we DON'T accept that reasoning where speech is concerned???!??!? Because we use first world mentality in the first place, and something far less in all others.
If I have a “right” it is a right, IT CAN’T BE TAKEN FROM ME…!!!!! Unless I claim it as a right and use it to subdue or deny your right, that’s why we have “CRIMES”!!!
If I gain pleasure from strangling you to death, and claim that it’s a pursuit of happiness that lead me to do this, I took your RIGHT to life. It can’t be my right, because I took yours….
What the Legion-of-the-Goon is saying, is that my speaking of things that make them uncomfortable, or unpleasant is trampling their “right” to ….. what????!!?!?!?!?
There IS NO RIGHT to comfort! What the goons have done in the weaker West is to convert “comfort” and “ascetics” into rights. THEY demand comfort as a right and if you violate that right, you are committing a crime in their eyes.
If my yard has too many weeds, and it effect/affects their sensibilities, or if it causes their property value (IE their access to value) to drop, I’ve committed a crime.
If I go to cut one of my trees down, or to develop my property, and that effect/affects their sensibilities, I’ve committed a crime.
If you take their third world reasoning to it’s logical conclusion, ANTHING I do could be a crime in their eyes. ONLY THOSE THINGS THEY GRANT… are not.
If I’m ugly or fart too much, that effects/affects them, and I can be guilty of a crime.
If I paint my house a color they don’t like, they create a homeowners association and fine me or compel me to leave. I’ve committed a crime.
If I bulldoze my property and go to put in a parking lot and McDonalds, they get an injunction and for the next 5 years they bogus up some evidence that the yellow-bellied-needle-penis-sappy-slug lives here and it’s endangered.
Since when do the slugs have “rights”!?!?!?!? Since Nixon in an effort to placate enemies singed into law the vehicle that gave them rights by proxy.

But we are all like an unclean thing, and all of our diggs are as filthy rags when compared to your front page successes. I know there have been times when I have made sarcastic comments about you, and even questioned if you exist. But that's all in the past. Now I've seen the light and realize that I am helpless without you.
