HP planning massive layoffs at EDS
tcmagazine.com — Now that the $13.9 billion acquisition of EDS (Electronic Data Systems) is a done deal, HP's execs have dropped "da bomb" by unveiling a rough restructuring plan for its new business unit. Set to take place over the next three years, the plan will see about 24,600 employees losing their jobs in order to streamline the company's services businesses.
