- stuwanker, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1The statistics quoted in the article are amazing--not in that they support gun control but rather the degree to which they do so. In particular, I'm struck by the numbers that suggest that, if you keep a handgun in your house, you're more likely to unintentionally arm an intruder with said handgun than you are to defend yourself with it.
- housewarmer, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1It's good to see statistical refutation of many of the gun self-protection myths Scalia called out in his ruling. That being said, I still support the ruling - it's just as important to protect the integrity of the 2nd amendment as it is any of the others. Infringing on it gives precedent for abuse of all of the bill of rights.
