Gunmen open fire on US consulate in Mexico

kvia.com — A federal official says assailants opened fire on the U.S. consulate in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey. A spokeswoman for Mexico's Attorney General's office who's not authorized to give her name says shell casings were found outside the consulate. But there are no witnesses and no one is in custody. The spokeswoman had no further details.
