Green Beret electrocuted in shower on Iraq base
cnn.com — A highly decorated Green Beret, Staff Sgt. Ryan Maseth died a painful death in Iraq this year. He died not on the battlefield. He died in what should have been one of the safest spots in Iraq: on a U.S. base, in his bathroom.

How'd they get there? An administration that was hell-bent on a war it thought would be a cake walk and that was unprepared and unwilling to commit the proper U.S. force needed.

When I went to Oklahoma to see my sister graduate high school, I seriously wanted to park my ass in the chair when they had everyone rise for the national anthem and to salute the flag. ***** the flag. That ***** is not honoring the troops. It's ***** mocking the troops. It's hard to pledge to a flag that represents a government that not only starts wars on false pretense, but sends it's troops to war ill-prepared just to run up a big ***** bill.
Reinstate hanging. Put Bush, Cheney, Rove, Libby, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, and the rest of those chickenhawk ***** on the gallows and televise that *****. Until they at least go to jail, our government is mocking us. This is why flags get burned. I never understood that as a child. It seemed spiteful then, but now I understand it means a lot. One of these days, it might be a symbol of freedom and pride, but it's meaning changes with the direction our country takes. A flag made by Betsy Ross is not the same flag made in China.

Our military contractors are the highest paid corner cutters on this planet. It takes 18 years to raise a man, only to be killed meaninglessly by those corner cutting creeps in less than one second, and our family can't even sue. Where is justice?
